Daryn Pittman Headlines Dirt Nation

 

Hampton, VA --- The Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil radio show on Monday evening March 26th will present a plethora of special guests from the world of dirt track racing across the country. Dirt Nation™ presented by Lucas Oil airs from 8:00 - 10:00 PM EST on WLRT 1490 THE OUTLAW and can be accessed over the internet at: www.racetalklive.com and www.dirtnation.net, and is hosted by Dave Seay.

Clint Smith of Senoia, GA. 'Cat Daddy' has been on a roll as the series headed to three tracks in his back yard. Smith came out of the weekend with three top tens and the points lead and will join the show to talk about his hot start and what 2007 has to hold. Smith drives the Clint Smith Racing owned RaceTek Race Engines powered Pontiac GTO GRT #44 sponsored by JP Drilling, CSR Aluminum, Turkey Creek Snack, Cliburn Tank Lines and J&J Steel.

Dirt Nation™ will also spotlight World of Outlaws Sprint car competitor Daryn Pittman of Owasso, OK. Pittman finished 2006 fourth in points after racking up five wins on the Outlaw tour. Pittman took home a fifth place finish this past weekend at Volunteer Speedway. Pittman will join the show to talk about how tough is out on the road this year and what lies ahead for him in 2007. Pittman pilots the Titan Racing USA owned, Don Ott powered Maxim #21 sponsored by Titan Garages & Sheds, B&B and Hop & Sack Convenience Stores.

Making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be Advance Auto Parts Super Dirt Series competitor and northeast modified star Vic Coffey of Leicester, NY. Coffey will join the show to talk about his 2007 plans and upcoming race at Hagerstown Speedway. Coffey drives the Coffey / McCreadie Ent. Owned, CC performance powered Bicknell #32c sponsored by Sweeteners Plus, Penske Shocks, Griffin Radiators and Outlaw Brakes.

Also making a return visit to Dirt Nation™ will be dirt late model driver Chris Walls of Holden LA. 'The Intimagator' has been a hot property after his 21 win season in 2006 and has the Outlaws racing in his back yard. Walls competed with the World of Outlaws 360 OTC Late Models this past weekend and will join the show to talk about his 2007 plans and his success against the tours when they roll into town. Walls drives the Stuckey Enterprises prepared, Wall2Wall Performance Engines powered Mastersbilt #71 sponsored by C & M Gator Farms, Gator Trax Boats, XTREME Graphics, GVS, Eagle Motorsports and Stuckey Enterprises.

Also returning to visit Dirt Nation™ will be dirt late model standout Matt Miller of Waterville, OH. Miller, the 2005 Dream winner, is a regular on the Lucas Oil Late Model Series finishing fifth in points in 2006 and currently sixth place in points heading into the Indiana Icebreaker weekend. 'The Buckeye Bandit' will join the show to talk about his new ride and the upcoming 2007 season. Making a first time visit to Dirt Nation™ will be modified standout Zack Vanderbeek of New Sharon, IA. Vanderbeek is racing with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) and finished second in the final 2006 national points and is currently fourth early into the 2007 season. The 22-year old will join the show to talk about his racing career and his future plans.
