INDIANAPOLIS – Two drivers who won USAC features over the last week will be among several guests on the USAC Racing show tonight on RaceFanRadio.com.
Tony Jones of Norco, Calif. and Tim Skoglund of Fresno, Calif. are two guests on the two-hour show after winning USAC features on the West Coast last weekend. Jones won Thursday’s USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series features at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway while Skoglund won the USAC California Ford Focus Pavement Midget Car Series opener at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Also joining the stage will be USAC Silver Crown Series presented by K&N Engineering drivers Wayne Reutimann Jr. and A.J. Fike, each who tested at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina 11 days ago. Reutimann finished fourth in the standings last year while Fike is making his first attempt to drive the new generation pavement cars next week at Homestead.
USAC/CRA PR Coordinator Robert Mayson will join host Rob Klepper for a report on Las Vegas and the upcoming race at Manzanita Speedway.
And as always, Fatheadz will award a pair of sunglasses to the winner of the weekly trivia question. This week’s question: The USAC Ford Focus Midget Car Series started in 2002 in California, and operates several divisions across the country. But who owns the most Ford Focus feature victories in the state of California?
The two-hour program begins at 8 p.m. Listeners are encouraged to call in with questions and/or comments by calling 866-376-4720 or sending an email at [email protected].
