I can not believe Usac has not announced Kruser as the Champion, He has it clinched. The top 5 are locked in now. If the top 5 stayed home there would be no change.

I think that because the event on Saturday is not the standard 30 laps, the points awarded will be higher. So while Cory has a large lead, it is not totally insurmountable. All he will probably have to do is qualify for the main to clinch.

Does anyone know if they get more points for a 50 lapper? SCRA used to have different points for 30, 40 and 50 laps.

I just checked on a 40 lapper you still get 60 points for the win. This will be the first 5o lapper of this year.
