Why do they put training wheels on bicycles? Stability.
Why do they put wings on sprint cars? Stability.
If speed is whay you want, watch Bonneville speed runs (600+MPH) or NHRA deag racing (330+MPH).
If you want to see racing, watch sprint cars ( not sprint cars with wings). Check out the Oval Nationals DVD by Jeff Kristensen, great racing 4 wide sliding through the corners and in car camera of the eventual winner. Terrific editing from 4 or 5 camers!

Guy Griffin, of Greenville, PA, purchased the Green Flag Sprint Car Group (now the Limited Sprints) from Dave Blaney. According to transponders at Sharon, the Limited Sprints are only a second off the 410 Sprints and 3 to 4 mph faster than the big blocks. - Jerry Reigle (2/27/07 AARN)

I'm a close personal friend with Guy's nephew. He's been putting together a new website for the green flag sprints http://www.limitedsprints.com:80/ . Hopefully they pick up more drivers in the near future.
I don't have anything controversial to add (sorry nodust). You could always post another pic of CoachBob doin the snow dive to get things livened up in here. Better be quick though, it's mostly melted away in these parts.

Come on guys, the family originally hails from Limerick, Ireland which explains why I like to drink and fight although those 'good ol' days' are about gone, arghhhh.
Florida ended any chance of controversy, but come next May things might change again. Then I will remind the other side that is the only place they have a chance to win and the only place they do and I've said so for over a decade, end of controversy again, lol.
Hope the weather is fine for you two. We had golf courses open up here in early January but have had almost two straight months of winter since and I am about sick of it, what am I doin' here? Take It Easy.....
