Longtime racing fan and supporter Dave Ward passed away earlier today. Arrangements are pending, but we will pass along any information as soon as possible.
For those that did not know, Dave and his wife Lois have helped alot of teams behind the scenes for many years. Dave will be missed by many people.
Rest in peace,
Lance

This is just really sad news. Dave and Lois are very well respected in our "racing circle of friends". Dave's vast knowledge of auto racing was extensive and I always enjoyed listening about racing stories from Dave. Lois sweetheart, we are all praying for you and hope the very best for ya dear.
God Bless

What a sad day for West Coast racing. Dave was involved and respected in every aspect of the sport. His wealth of knowledge was second to none. What a lot of people do not know is the fact that he is one of the people who helped build Ascot.
Condolences to Lois and his family from everyone at The PAS.

Oh My... Lois, I am so sorry to hear the sad new regarding Dave. I always loved to hear the stories that Dave had to say. I am totally speechless. Lois, if possible email me at [email protected] I'd like to stay in touch with you.

This is truly a sad day. I really didn't get to know Dave until after the heart attack he had in the pits at Perris. I am so grateful that he had those years with Lois. My car owner has known the Ward family since he was a small child running around Ascot himself. Needless to say, I have heard many great stories from and about Dave over the past few years. Lois, you are in our thoughts. Dave has been a great friend and supporter of ours for several years. We will miss his stories, enthusiasm, and most importantly, his friendship.
