the guys have left san jose after a few days in town and are on the road to arizona. so anyone going to the races there please pass on the same cheers and good will that the team got in tulare. they love the attention even if they don't seem to. just remember bonzai is shy so don't make him blush when you tell him he did a good job. lol.

Hey do you know if the guys are going to be headed back to Cali for the Mini Gold Cup next week?

they did not say they were coming back. haud and bonz asked if i was going to arizona and i told them i didn't think so. i told paul i would see him down the road and no one has said anything about coming back.

Off the subject - but for the record, Jac won the 2006 Pit Gate driver of the year award which goes to Ohio drivers going above and beyond in their racing endeavors throughout the season. We have a points system and track all in state and out of state finishes for the 410, 360, and 305 drivers from the State of Ohio. Due to some computer issues by one of the scorers, there was a delay in getting the 410 results, but we learned a few weeks ago that Jac was the winner. Congrats!
Pit Gate will be giving him his prizes and trophy at one of the Ohio races this spring.

while i am not jacs official spokesperson i can guess his reply might be "Really? Well that's a pretty neat deal right there." lol. and thanks for the info.
one thing i have noticed is if you want to calm down a frantic message board all you have to do is start talking about haud. from the fans to the crews to the drivers no one seems to be as well liked as jac.
donny schatz told us the only reason he doesn't root for jac is becuase he (donny) doesn't sit in the stands.
