I'm looking for a dirt sprint/midget race in the Los Angeles area on March 10, 11, 12 or 13. Anything out there on the schedules? Checked the PAS and they do not have sprints on the 10th... What other tracks are located in the LA area?

Well, nothing happening at Santa Maria, Ca. Borona don't have sprint cars.

Ventura Raceway at the fairgrounds will have 360 non-wing sprint car racing on saturday March 10th.

That's a lot of fun. Ventura is 1.33 hours  north of  Los Angeles on HWY 101 or 23 miles south

of Santa Barbara on HWY 101. Nothing happening at Bakersfield, Ca on Saturday the 10th

regarding sprint cars or midgets.

Sincerely,

Larry "O"

Don't miss Ventura Todd it's a great race track. There won't be any ice or snow out there either!!!!

A great bull ring that runs non-wing sprints. A little like Huset's think it's shorter. Go early and check out the beach and take some warm clothes. Wish i was going too!!

Perris is a neat little joint also for partially finished sprint cars (non-wing)

Ventura is special and it's a LOT smaller than Husets. I have seen side by side racing there, constantly. One of the treasures still left from the good ol' days. Mom and the girls will love it also and if they're not there, the view ain't all bad either, hint hint, lol. Take It Easy....

Todd if something were to happen and you can't make Ventura

Pas has late models and modified that same nite

I got a buddy out there that has been working on one of the mod's

Said they but on a good show last time they had 32 mod's

Pas is one fine race track everything there is top notch

I'd sure go there if Ventura can't run.

I remember watching, in fact, recording some ESPN Thunder midget races from Ventura, probably around '92 or so (?)... that looks like one heckuva fun track to see a live sprint car race at!!! Lotsa action!

( p.s. Todd, no offense, but the midgets are WAAAAY better to watch at Ventura than they were at Husets in '96 ...sideways all the way around the track! )

Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.
