it's a good idea but I have a question...
$79.00 for domain?? that doesnt sound free - how about if I go register with a cheapy domain site, and just url forward to my free site on your server??

You can get a domain name and link to it but that is not the same as having a hosted domain account.
When you link to it you web site address will still be our website address.
Google will not index your site using your domain name.
You also get more control of the site with a Domain Hosted Account.
The free website account allows you to link to it using your username.
