Google is indexing the forums pretty well.
The title is a major part of how it gets indexed.
Take a title from a post and search it in google.
Example: I took "Open Wheel Times column" which was one of the post title and searched it on Google. Here is the link for the search. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Open+Wheel+Times+column&btnG=Google+Search
You will notice that it is #1 in the search results.
It takes a couple days to get indexed in Google once the post is created.

Here is another one that I pulled from random.
Forum title - Tim Kaeding on Jackslash
Google Search - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Tim+Kaeding+on+Jackslash+&btnG=Search

You will also notice that we have added a google search to the top of the forums. We noticed that Google was indexing the posts so we thought it might be a good way for users to find more results for there search.
