Looks like Madsen was running Goodyear's. After many people were saying that they should get out.

I think the rubber down conditions may have helped it not be so critical tonight, yet I offer congrats to Madsen and crew. Nice work!

I saw that GoodYear RR and thought the same thing.
Congrats to Madsen and crew.
What tires were Haud and Pittman running? They both seemed to be on the move forward.

Too bad that the Goodyears will be outlawed by the Outlaws in April...

I wonder if Dave Helm's health added to Kerry's resolve to win?
Best wishes to the Helms. Congrats to Kerry.

Probably the first outlaw race goodyear has won is the last 5 years (or more). Due to the new rules, it's most likely the last for some time to come.

How many years did it take Hoosier to step back up to the plate after being away for so long? Good things come to those who wait...

Didn't either Tyler (Manzy or Vegas), Sammy (Eldora, etc), or whoever drove Guys car when it won in Charlotte two years of so ago (can't remember his name right now) have Goodyears on? Guy has been a long-time Goodyear holdout when everyone else had bailed to Hoosier.
Also, isn't it possible that the WoO would allow Goodyears (or American Racer for that matter) if they came up with a tire that fit within the new rules?

the only tire that fits within the new tire rule is HOOSIER . there are no specs to meet . does not say must be same as sc15 sc12 sc20 or whatever the compounds are. it says the RR MUST be.

"Please note that WoO will be instituting a new tire rule to take effect in Aprilor May of 2007."
Do you think that they did all of that testing with Hoosier last year for nothing?
