Just purchased my tickets for the one-night show at USA Race Park in Tucson AZ for the Outlaws in March. Tickets prices are $50. The lady who took my order said it includes a pit pass as well. I asked how much without the pit pass and she said all tickets are $50 regardless of whether or not you go into the pits. The lady was very nice, but $50 for a one-night show seems a little bit steep. Does anyone know what the ticket prices are for the FL WoO races or any other races coming up? Thanks.

Are you hurting anywhere. I know that I paid that much for a one night show I would have some pain.

$50 a head?...i thought this "2007 re-alignment" was supposed to be better for the FANS?

last year we got discounted ticket prices for the porrly attended world of also-stars races...i guess this is the payback year where the "operational shortfalls" are being exacted on the fans.

good luck with this pricing structure.

From Volusia Speedway Park website:

Feb. 6 Tuesday All Star Circuit of Champions UMP Modified $30
Feb. 7 Wednesday All Star Circuit of Champions UMP Modified $30
Feb. 8 Thursday All Star Circuit of Champions UMP Modified $35
Feb. 9 Friday World of Outlaw Sprint Series UMP Modified $30
Feb. 10 Saturday World of Outlaw Sprint Series UMP Modified $30
Feb.11 Sunday World of Outlaw Sprint Series UMP Modified $35
Feb.12 Monday UMP Late Models UMP Modified $30
Feb. 13 Tuesday UMP Late Models UMP Modified Championship $30
Feb.14 Wednesday UMP Late Models Advance Auto Parts Big Blocks $30
Feb.15 Thursday World of Outlaws Late Model Series Advance Auto Parts Big Blocks $35
Feb.16 Friday UMP Late Model Championship Advance Auto Parts Big Blocks $35
Feb.17 Saturday World of Outlaws Late Model Series Advance Auto Parts Big Blocks $35

I know of a track in Oklahoma last year that tried to charge a minimum of $45 when the NST came to town. Boy were they sorry they did that. They even wound up cancelling the second date they had. Now, this event for USA is a WoO show with all the teams back together. I gotta think they may find the road tough going indeed if they try to charge a $50 minimum.

Last I had heard, say since 1982 when I attended my first WoO race at OKC, is that the TRACK PROMOTERS charge the ticket prices, not the WoO.

I understand this is a track promoted event. Last year, I believe SLS Promotions put on the show.

I don't see any ticket prices listed on the track's website. $50 seems a bit excessive and I hope it's not a trend nationwide.

Tickets that I have purchased for the World of Outlaw sprint car shows at I-55 and Tri-City were $32 for the best seats in the house.

DIRT Motorsports does not set ticket prices and to my knowledge they have not raised the sanctioning fee from last year. Sounds like the track is sticking it to the fans down there. OUCH.

From what I have been told about the promoters at USA raceway park, they are definately sticking it to fans!

There is no excuse for total Greed but what's a racefan gonna do?  Bite the bullet and go.

Just an idea that may send a msg to them, do not use their garbage cans, just throw your litter in their parking lots and anywhere you want.  Make them spend that extra profit on their cleanup up crew!

The only problem with that is with the wind. By the time they got to cleaning it up the next day it will have blown out into the dessert. The best way is to not attend. Go to Manzanita the night before. Better track, better racing and even with gas at $2.50 a gallon cheaper to driver there and back from Tucson than a $50 ticket.

What's a race fan gonna do? Uh, I would be skipping that race. Other than Saturday night at Knoxville, there isn't a Sprint Car show out there worth $50 for one night. For $50 a ticket, the show should be paying $50,000 to win.

Tickets for the outlaw world finals at the dirt track at lowes are 59 but that is a two day ticket for 2 10,000 to win sprint shows and 2 10,000 to win late model shows

Ahhhh, $50 a "head" and a World of Outlaws sprint car show?  Hey, that could be "fan friendly", depending on who is giving the ..................!   Hey, too bad the "GREED" already scheduled its opening day extravaganza.   Maybe next year, naaaaaaa, why bother promoting something special, just open the gates, we will come!!!!!  E-Mods.

I paid $2.09 a gallon today in AZ. $50 for a general admission ticket is a joke! I am with BigFish you wont find a better show for the money than the Copper at Manzy.

I wish the gas would get that low here in NorCal. The Copper is going to be a great race. I can't wait to get there.

Didn't Outlaw speedway south of Muskogee try this combination 2 years ago? But, I remember it being $35 including the pit-pass and it was not well received. As I recall the promotor lost his arss. Do we not learn by others mistakes? Apparently not.
