The Justin Stanfill Memorial Modified race scheduled for March 15th, 16th and 17th at West Plains Motor Speedway in Missouri is no longer a 3-day show with just a money feature paying $8000 to win on Saturday but it's still pretty good.
It's now 3 separate paying shows with a 3-race point fund. One entry fee though. The entry fee is $150 if received by March 1st or $175 at the gate.
Thursday night is $1000 to win, $100 to start and a total A main purse of $5350. Friday is $2000 to win, $200 to start and a purse of $10,700, Saturday, $3000 to win, $300 to start, $16,000.
The point fund pays an additional $1000 to the winner but then 2nd gets $500, 3rd, $400, 4th, $375 and breaks it's way down to $125 for 12th. 13th through 24th in points gets back $100. That's an additional $5600 or so in purse. Any driver who runs a heat all 3 nights and doesn't make a feature gets $50 tow money back.
So that's over a $37,000 purse easy for a 3-day, $150 entry fee show. And if only showing up for Fri-Sat takes you out of the points and tow money, then it's still a two-day, $26,000 purse for the $150. Plus pit passes of course.
It's still unsanctioned IMCA rules with AR KK704 or Hoosier G60 tires and a total weight of 2450.
