Brady Short takes night 2 and Jon Stanbrough takes second rounding out the podium is Jesse Hockett who is looking really stout early on in the wingless sprints.

Additional observations from East Bay:

Brady Short looks very good with the Benic team. He is much improved from last year.

Chad Blonde is a crew member on the Benic team this year. Chad says they are done racing the family car. This is sad, Chad is very talented and was improving each year, as he had some good finishes with the WoO last year.

Luke Hall was going to pack up and head to the USCS show in Lake City, but will now likely stay here for Friday's finale, as he is locked in to the top 6 in points.

The weather here has been changing all week, last night the wind reversed directions and we had slight rain on a slick track. It was kind of a slow motion race, but lots of passing.

For the Michigan fans, strong rumors say that Dustin Daggett will be in the Mott car this year running 410 races around the region.

Oh, and Jesse Hockett will be exciting to watch in USAC this year. I guarentee he will win some races.
