Looks like Donnie Ray will be in the Kunz 67 midget at the "Copper on Dirt" (and maybe the Kunz sprinter). Amazing.
Who would have ever dreamed of seeing Bacon and Crawford (any generation) making strides like this.

I think Donnie could have if he would have ventured out away from Tulsa such as Hillenburg did. Now a Bacon, that is another story.

Donnie never had the cajones to run a whole lot more than the paperclip at Tulsa. If he had I'd have a lot more respect for him. Plus he married way over his head if you know what I mean.

Have you ever seen Donnie and his wife together? Tell me who got the better end of the deal.
Donnie rarely ran OKC. He never had much luck when he did
including getting stuffed by Larry Rice the night prior to the infamous
Vogler/Johnson incident.
Donnie was unstoppable at Tulsa but he wasn't cut out for the higher speeds of OKC and many other tracks. That's the reason "Action Andy" went on to bigger things, he had the balls to do it.
