I am Going To tell you if Those guys plane and simple if they dont get rid of the head rule we will be watching 8 race cars this class has bunch of babys they was crying all night long.

I know of 2 more that are gone gone gone racing pro stocks next year. Not because of the heads but because Lanny more or less ran em off by being a prick.
My prediction?
We'll see the midget turn SFS into Lawton by him pulling all the same silly antics personified by insecure little men. It will be like Lawton with 45 sprints. Which is also my prediction of the average weekly car count in sprints. Super Sprints will constitute the majority of those. I think we will start to see a decline in the champs. Remember I'm not counting what sprint drivers the little man might run off.

Listen alot has to do with the head rule but if you look at the pro stock class there are people in the top ten that normaly make the top ten so those people are lobbing for the rules to stay the same then there is others who are saying the fords and the dodges where cheating that there is bullsh$t because there is no fords or dodges so change the head rule and there will be more pros. end of story.

Hey okcfan12, He started it by telling me that his driver could beat me.His driver can't ever keep it going straight or know which way to drive. plus the crew chief thinks he know everything but doen't even know how to drive a street car.

Chill Flash, That guy is my crew chief and soon to be car owner. We were just having fun. Nobody is talking mush and thought is would maybe get poeple to start talking. Kind of miss hearing from people. its all in fun as long as no one get mad and get carried away with it. No racing and it it getting too cold to work on the race car outside.

Now thats funny! A sprint car? Now after just reading your post to my wife, a sprint car means D-I-V-O-R-C-E ! But now a nice mod or late model would work! Thought I felt some heat on the screen, its glowing pretty well! Let me know when it hits!

For people who are really interested in the Pro Stocks, the first year Lanny took over, we talked him into going back to steel heads. The car count came up, then without asking any of us, Lanny chose to go back to the aluminum head rule. Then the car count fell off again. Then we talked Lanny into giving a guy 3 races to run steel heads. This year we are trying to talk him into letting a stock 23 degree steel head run for the whole year if it is a new car. Lanny is not going to change the aluminum head rule. We are just trying to get him to do this to increase our car count. Maybe after running awhile guys will decide to by aluminum heads. Flash, for the last 2 years you could have ran 3 nights with steel heads on your Factory Stock. James Beane

Mike I hope you're jokin or CCC will be on the run! I'll go into hiding! I'll only pop up for South Side Hooters after friday night races. That will be after watching the SFS friday night show from one of the trees along May Ave. with some binoculars.
Mr. Beane....by what you say it sounds like 1 of 2 things. 1 he's just trying to run the pro stocks off, which I couldn;t imagine a motive for that. But it's Lanny so who knows. 2 Better yet, whoever the manufacterer is for that spec head (i imagine it would be Brodix) must be kickin him down with somethin for stickin with that head rule. 2 certainly seems much more likely. Me and a buddy of mine had the conversation a couple of days ago about rule changes hurting car counts and such. I agree completely with him, except for on the pro stocks. It has became very obvious for those paying attention that Lanny sticking with his head rule is killing that class. The WEEK he switches to steel heads there would be more cars running. So I have 2 questions I'm pondering. Lanny bitches about the car count of that class and then does absolutely nothing....why? second question is when only 8 or 9 show next season and the crowd is laughing at Lanny Edwards....whats he gonna do then? do away with them? Then he has only 4 classes running every friday which will piss off a lot of drivers who like a week off here and there. I have never seen a promoter do so little with so much. It is truly pathetic. How this guy EVER got inducted in to ANY hall of fame or received promoter of the year amazes me. Who was voting on that? Probably Brodix representatives................... Thats a bit of a joke. But I really haven't seen someone do such a bad job with a place that has some of the biggest potential of any racetrack in the nation. It's only by God's good grace (and lots of sprints) that we even have a good show at SFS. If the man would use some common sense and quit being such an asshole......the shows we would attend every friday would be among the very best in the nation as opposed to being the best in the area.

With the Brodix head, there isnt much you can do with it with out getting caught,, you know, that special attention the engine man gives. With a steel head and some extra money there is a lot more that can be done. The Brodix head helps keep a even playing field to some extent. Steel heads depends on how much money you want to spend.
With the steel head, who ever does the most work to the head will be fast. Im sure everybody knows that.
Is that why no one want to run the Brodix head because they cant do anything to it?????
