Been awful quiet about the new "king of the outlaws". Mr unbeatable in Australia!
Seems like his crown is tarnishing already?

I'm not real sure on this total but I believe Schatz has close to 60 A main wins, if that is even close thats not Bad. That would put him right up their with some of the best.

Kevin Eckert wrote last week that out of the last 14 times Schatz and SK raced together on the same track, Donny had beaten(either won or finished ahead of) Steve 14 times......
So whose crown is tarnishing?

Isn't comparing these two right now like comparing a 38 yr. old Joe Montana to a 25 yr. old Tom Brady? Just a thought ;)

My point is he is not winning every race down under as his contingent was starting to believe (as posted on WOO site). Never was it a comparison to Steve's performance which Donny will never equal in this lifetime. Damn it's going to be a fun summer.....................................

Even though the sign clearly says not to, I'll feed the monkeys anyway...
So, after winning everything in sight all season up to that point, Schatz hasn't won the last two events (3rd place in one, and didn't even get to start the A main in the other due to mechanical issues) and all of a sudden he's a slap-happy, no-driving S.O.B?
Where do people come up with this sh*t?
It's a real shame. If the people who seem to like stirring up crap on these boards actually talked to the drivers that they continually drone on and on about, they would find that each of them have a lot of mutual respect for the other's abilities. The majority of the problems related to who is better, or who caused what, comes from this type of behavior from "fans", not from the drivers, teams or series' themselves.
These guys are out their doing what they do best, not sitting on their fat ass playing Vince McMahon behind their keyboard. Sometimes I wish the internet were never invented (thanks Al Gore).

Thank God for Albore inventing the internet, and especially thank him for doing his share to cool the planet last weekend in Tulsa!

On that 14 in a row deal it is similiar to what I kept track of last year with the NST and the Wof O's. If there was a race with at least 3 drivers in each series in it the Outlaws dominated and finished in front of the other series over 90% of the time. I started it in Australia and then through Florida and early on it was brutal in favor of the Outlaws. All the while some clowns in this forum kept posting about all the great talent in the other series, it was laughable. Perception and reality of numbers was as off as some of the Posse debates of old, not even close. Remember Nick Bakay, 'the numbers don't lie', Take It Easy.....

"Beware the man in the green car" was a statement I heard a distinguished Indianapolis based journalist say to me after night 2 of the first ever Outlaws Downunder show.
Sure enough, Kinser came good on Night 3 and took the honours.
This time around in 2007, he hasn't looked like his old self at all since his arrival in Australia, eight or so race meetings ago. Indeed at yesterday's media day, the King looked quite lonely as others took the limelight away from him.
I wonder what he is feeling right now? Is Australia the place to return to form or will he conclude that home soil is the place to do it? My thoughts, after seeing every lap he's done this summer is that the next three nights will be the turning point. Sure there are no Outlaw points on offer, but there is plenty of pride on the line and I'd say Steve has tons of that still left in him.
I might get me some of that 7/1 that Andre has on offer!!
Let' see what unfolds in the next 72 hours ....
