Just wanted some opinions on USAC's Indiana Sprint Week. I see it has expanded greatly this year. Would it be worth travelling from Minnesota to take it in? Thinking about making it our road trip this year. Also any advice on places to stay in or near each town would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help...

I doubt that you'll get very many (if any) helpful suggestions from these guys. If it doesn't happen in Iowa or if it doesn't have a barn door strapped on top of the roll cage, then it ain't squat in their feeble minds.
You might want to make your inquiry over at IndianaOpenWheel.com.
Civil people over there, with a true love for actual sprint cars, not sand buggies with a barn door.
Just my opinion.......
(Jeff - my apologies to you and Allan. You guys do a great job with the sites).
Joe.

DO NOT HESITATE---------- Catch the first train, plane or jump in your car and get there. It is the best bargain and the greatest racing that is offered in the good old US of A !
We never miss it and have introduced a number of our friends to some real racing. They have extended the schedule this year and we can't wait.
Starting at North Vernon,we stay at Seymour where there are all kinds of motels and good restaurants.I don't have the schedule in front of me but Bloomington has plenty of motels(make reservations early as that is a college town).
Kokomo has plenty of motels also.
Gas City has an excellent Super 8 and Best Western.
We stay at Cloverdale for the Putnamville race.
There are a number of motels located at I-64 and 41(We prefer Super 8) for the Haubstadt race.
Haven't been to Boswell yet---you're an your own.
Lawrenceburg has casinos and plenty of motels.
Terre Haute has motels aplenty.
Hope we see you there.

If this post isn't results, stories or something c

Is it worth it?? Well I moved from Maine to Indiana,so I
could be right in the mix of the thrilling to real adventures every
week. Now I can do Indiana Sprintweek, not have to use time off work, and
sleep in my own bed every night as well.
Chilly W. thinks its heaven living in Iowa just up the road from Knoxville. What do people do there the other 6 nights of the week though during the summer?? Its heaven here in Indiana.Racing every night, and with the few nights off you can stop in at the local race shops for the latest "dirt".
