this is probably not news to either David's or a few others. this is kind of a confusing region since ASCS just started a Coastal Region to begin in 2007. Rebel will run through Georgia, Bama, and Florida and Coastal will run the Gulf Coast. That seems odd considering there isn't a whole lot of sprinters or tracks throughout that area. At least not to my knowledge. These 2 regions along with the Southern Tour constitute 3 regions in what has historically been USCS territory. Is ASCS tryin to take out USCS? I wouldn't think there would be room for both with the limited drivers and tracks in that area. I imagine there will be a lot of nights where both Series have scheduled races and the drivers would have to choose which one and in that wouldn't that kinda leave one of the series with a black eye (so-to-speak)?
