This is only my take on this. I just learned of the dates for the Hangtown 100. Last year I attended the race and had a great time. Their inaugural t-shirts are awesome. I may never wear mine again and just display it in my man cave. There was one strange thing that happened during last year's event...it rained in SoCal and the Placerville area had nice weather. Now I live 2 hours from Placerville and normally it's the beginning of their wet season. I believe we who attended lucked out. Even other fans I spoke to said the same. I was hoping the organizers and USAC could have scheduled it on the weekend before the Oval Nationals and then there's a greater chance of no wet weather. There is nothing scheduled on that weekend for the National teams nor the west coasters. Anyway, I am off my soapbox. Happy New Year to everyone and I am patiently waiting for the season to begin in California.
