Any news if some of the drivers that have run the 50 the last couple years have rides for this weekend?
Joey Saldana ,Sammy Swindell ,Tim Shaffer ,Justin Henderson saw Hunter was in a 39 at the Doty was that the Swindell 39?
Looks like a good feild devolping with Brown and Masden so far for sure. Plus the 10 All Stars and should be around 30 Posse cars.

Yes the 39 at the Doty was the Speedlab car. They hinted a few weeks ago on twitter about coming to Pa with it but who knows. Maybe Shaffer, coming off good runs with the 1G, will come to Pa in that car. I think Lynton Jeffrey said on twitter he was trying to work it out to come in. Not sure of any others yet, other than Brown & the Madman.

Port just tweeted that Sammy will be there this weekend. I would imagine in the 39. This makes me happy.

Saw Sammy isn't coming, this makes me not so happy now. Wonder if it's him or the 39 car. I guess we will see.

Lee Stauffer just tweeted a pic of himself standing with Tim Shaffer. Caption reads “Well.. we get a chance to win again. Could this mean Leathal Lee is turning the wrenches on the Mackison car? Interesting!

I didn't think Tim Schaffer was going to ride less with the fall races coming up.

Almost 60 sprint cars and they feel the need to run a support division. SMH. Would be better if it were midgets instead of boring late models.

Longest show kids fell asleep. To late for little ones. Why the need for a support division with the number of sprint cars. Plus double time trials. After midnight and still running the late model feature. Hope they run a more efficient show for Saturday. Racing was ok, nothing great.

They definitely need to scrap the support division. This is the 2nd biggest sprint car race in PA. It stands well enough on its own. The late hour didn't bother me much but I took my wife with me and she isn't a diehard like me but she enjoys the occasional race. Especially the fair races at Port. She's not exactly a night owl and she at about 10:30, she hit the wall. She stuck it out until the sprint feature was over but she has now decided against attending tonight. One thing they need to realize is that on Friday, most people are there after a long day at work. Nights like last night aren't real friendly to someone who got up at 5:30 am, worked all day and then went to the races afterwards. I'm sure they didn't intend for things to run so late but I think next year, this needs to be a 1 division show. They have plenty of big shows for the late models thoughout the season as it is.Tuscarora 50 weekend should be all about sprint cars. If they do insist on running a support division, at least scrap the time trials.
