I just saw pictures of the KLR hauler stuck trying to make a turn.  Someone stated he was trying to make a corner while avoiding a car parked at the pit entrance.  Not sure if this was the case, but it made me think about issues around the track and campgrounds at racing events.

Folks:

1.  Park your vehicles somewhere other than where they could be in the way around the race track.  This might mean walking a little bit farther than you wish.  Make it easier on these teams to get their vehicles in and out.  Sick of hearing over the PA that a vehicle is blocking an entrance.

2.  At campgrounds, make sure where your vehicle is parked, other cars, trucks, and RV's can make it through.  I showed up Wednesday afternoon last year at Knoxville and had to back all the way down a row of campers because someone decided to leave their truck half way out into the road.  And, if there isn't room, solve your own problem-----don't make it mine.

Which leads me to........

3.  If you are going to be a complete jackass and block the road, at least stay at your camper or leave keys with someone so they can move the @#$@$% truck!  People get sick of knocking door to door trying to find out if someone can move the vehicle.

I really don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate of others.  I move my vehicle well out of the way after the camper is parked----even if it compromises my campsite and inconveniences me.

The problem is that many people are lazy selfish A-bags.

Agree with both post above. As a side note, put your shopping cart in the return area or back in store too!!

Here's another one that will undoubtedly occur this weekend at Eldora. The jerk-off that is heading back to his chairs in turn 1 with 5 mixed drinks in a carrier just as the 1st heat of the evening starts. Instead of hurrying back to his seats will stop & stand in front of everyone so he can by-God catch the first coupla' laps. Keep moving you JO and drink a beer you puss cake.

Spot on!!!!!   Take notes from the NHL.  No one gets up during live action.  No one returns to their seat during live action.

Courtesy is a lost art. Most people have no clue what it takes to turn a Semi / Hauler & god forbid trying to back up in one, they will just set there & honk & if you can't see them all you hear is some noise wondering where in the hell it's coming from.

Just yesterday I turned off 1 rd to another & was straight in my lane before he even got to me & he held his arms up & then gave me the finger. Of course I felt I had plenty of time & gave it right back to him.

I always wave & mouth thanks to the folks that back up & or give me room.
