My friend from Oklahoma and myself from Texas would like to plan/take a roadtrip next year (2020) to take in the most and the Best Non Winged Sprint Car races in a 10 - 14 day stretch. We’ve heard from various people in conversations about some speedweek type events in Indiana or Ohio or wherever. We would appreciate anyone’s input as to where would be the best state or states to plan a Bucket List trip to see great non winged shows. Thanks in advance.

Alot of people would say Indiana Sprint Week (happens later in July) and I can't disagree, but if you really have 14 days, and the schedules align like they did this year, I would suggest Indiana Midget Week and then following the USAC sprints East and doing Eastern Storm. This is how that would have turned out for you in 2019:

(I) Jun 04   Montpelier, IN Montpelier Motor Speedway Logan Seavey
(I) Jun 05   Gas City, IN Gas City I-69 Speedway Justin Grant
(I) Jun 06   Putnamville, IN Lincoln Park Speedway Tanner Thorson
(I) Jun 07   Bloomington, IN Bloomington Speedway Tyler Courtney
(I) Jun 08   Lawrenceburg, IN Lawrenceburg Speedway Chris Windom
(I) Jun 09   Kokomo, IN Kokomo Speedway Rained Out
Jun 11   Bechtelsville, PA Grandview Speedway Event Info
(E) Jun 12   Swedesboro, NJ Bridgeport Speedway Event Info
(E) Jun 13   York Haven, PA BAPS Motor Speedway Event Info
(E) Jun 15   Port Royal, PA Port Royal Speedway
(E) Jun 16   Weedsport, NY Weedsport Speedway

That wouldn't suck.

You'll have to check the schedules for 2020 when they come out (Usacracing.com).

Nice trip.   I was going to suggest doubling up on both midget weeks.   Do the USAC weeks above and the following week you can go the POWRi week.   Would defintiely get to see some iconic tracks.

+1 on the Indiana and Powri midget weeks it might be the best racing you will ever see, I did both in 2017 and hope to do them again in 2020. IMS is always a neat place to check out also if you are in the area

Don't forget that IMW has wingless sprints as the "undercard"! :)

This right here. You basically get two USAC shows for the price of one every night during Indiana Midget Week because USAC Midgets are the main event with non-wing sprints for a support class. Most of the drivers will run both a midget and non-wing sprint car every night.

USAC at Knoxville July 5-6 2019  not sure of 2020 dates.

Terre Haute IN

Kokomo IN

Putnamville IN

Look at the USAC schedule when it comes out for next year..
