First Wave of Sprint Car Bandits vs NCRA Racing Series, Midget & Limited Modified Entries Unveiled for this Saturday’s Tripleheader at Monarch Motor Speedway – EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS FRIDAY!

Wichita Falls, TX (05/06/19) by DarinShort.com. The first wave of early registrations for the Sprint Car Bandits® vs NCRA Shootout, Monarch Midget Championships and Limited Modified Madness Triple Header at Monarch Motor Speedway are now available for viewing. This blockbuster event is this Saturday, May 11th at the beautiful and well-manicured ¼ mile speed plant located on the west side of Wichita Falls, TX.

Early (and FREE) Registration for ALL three divisions ends this Friday and will save drivers $30. To register your team, just go to www.SprintCarBandits.com and click the Monarch link at the very top of the homepage. The registration form will be on the right side of the page, and in about 30 seconds you’ll be all set. Pre-registering helps the track and series prepare for your arrival, and more importantly, lets race fans know who is coming so they purchase tickets to come see you race.

Speaking of tickets, ADVANCE DISCOUNT TICKETS are available for purchase at the same link through this Friday. This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day, and all Mothers that purchase their adult ticket in advance will receive an $8 food credit at the MMS concession stand for that night’s race – so you’ll get a free Mother’s Day meal from MMS just for purchasing your ticket in advance! Advance tickets are $2 less for general admission.

Regarding the Sprint Car rules edits and reminders for this event, they are very small in nature:

-Mufflers are now optional at this event.

-Tires must be Hoosier Racing Tires on all four corners. After hot laps, you must make your rear tire selection for the night, and your rear tires will be marked, and you must run those two tires through the balance of the event. The LR tire must be a Hoosier 92 and must durometer 35 or higher when we stamp it. The RR tire must durometer 45 or higher (example the Hoosier RaceSaver or ASCS stamped RR). No tire bleeders. (Additional info is posted under the ‘rules’ link on series site.)

-Top wing angle must be set to 20° throughout the night. No hydraulic sliders allowed. Go to the rules page at www.SprintCarBandits.com for a very thorough instructional video if you need assistance setting your wing angle. All drivers must follow all Sprint Car Bandits rules and procedures (posted at the SCB website under ‘rules’). Reminder to pay close attention to our start/restart rules if you’re not familiar with them.

-Pre-entry to this event is required (for all divisions) and takes about 30 seconds to complete, it’s free through 5/10/19. Go to www.sprintcarbandit.com/051119 and get your team entered so we can pre-publicize the drivers that fans can expect to see. If you choose not to pre-enter by 5/10/19 (day before race) there will be a $30 registration fee due upon sign in on race night (for all divisions). Thank you to the teams that have already completed this quick and easy step.

Here's the latest forecast from NOAA, it’s looking pretty decent at the moment! Feel free to follow along at this link to any updates to race day weather. Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56.

Race fans and teams that have been to the new Monarch Motor Speedway (west side of Wichita Falls) know that it features incredible dirt track racing with state-of-the-art facilities. And now, a blockbuster event is taking place at the ¼ mile speed plant featuring some of the best dirt track racers in the region with the running of the Sprint Car Bandits vs. NCRA 360C.I. Shootout, the Monarch Midget Championships and Limited Modified Madness…all taking place on one night - Saturday, May 11th at 7pm!

It even gets better for race fans, as they can purchase advance discount tickets to this event for just $20 by going directly to www.sprintcarbandits.com/051119 or by going to www.SprintCarBandits.com and then clicking the ‘May 11’ link at the top of the home page. Advance discount tickets are available through the end of May 10th (night before the event).

Yep. There’s still more: we haven’t forgotten that the day after the event is Mother’s Day! For all mothers that purchase their discount advance tickets by May 10th, they will each receive an $8 food credit at the concessions stand – our way of giving all moms a free Mother’s Day Dinner, courtesy of Monarch Motor Speedway!

Adult tickets on the day of the race are $22 (ages 11-64), while kids (ages 6-11) are $5 and Seniors/Active Military are $15. Pit passes on May 11th are $35.

RACE FANS: Make plans to arrive early at the track to take in the pre-race Sprint Car Bandits “Fierce 15” Fan Fest! It will take place directly next to the main ticket window from 6pm until about 6:45pm. There, you can meet the drivers of the Fierce 15, get selfies, purchase their 2019 t-shirt designs (get them autographed!) and get a good close look at the cars. SCB Fan Fest is an effort to help sprint car racing get back to the good ‘ol days when there was generally more fan interaction with the race teams. Back then it was common for most of the fans to go to the pits after the races to meet with the teams, and now in many cases the races at tracks don’t finish in time to make that feasible. This is an effort to fire back up that interaction by simply flipping the timing element. Pre-race Fan Fest will take place at every SCB series event in 2019.

If you’d like to get your brand new Fierce 15 driver t-shirts prior to Fan Fest, the new online store at www.SprintCarBandits.com is now open. Reminder, that proceeds from Fierce 15 driver apparel benefits each individual driver that is a part of the program, so please show your support by grabbing one when you can...and your support will help drivers better funded throughout the season.

Directions to Monarch Motor Speedway from I-44 in Wichita Falls: Go 4 Miles West on Hwy 287, Exit FM369 North 0.7 Miles. On Facebook find them at @MonarchMotorSpeedway and their new website is coming soon and will be MonarchMotorSpeedway.com. Adult GA to this event on race day is $22, with Seniors/Military $15, Ages 6-11 are $5; while Pit Passes are $35. Advance discount tickets are available at www.SprintCarBandits.com through May 10th. Advance tickets for mothers also include a $8 food credit on race night…so don’t miss out on the great deal!

ALL RACE TEAMS in ALL DIVISIONS: Pre-entry for this event is required. Just go to www.SprintCarBandits.com then click the 5/11 link and you can get yourself entered in about a minute. Registration is open through the night before the event date. Any drivers not pre-entering will be charged a $30 late entry fee upon their arrival on race day. Drivers choosing to compete in more than one division can do so by simply purchasing an additional pit pass per each division they are competing in (register your second division car now, but purchase your pit passes on race night).

SPRINT RACE TEAMS: all sprint car teams that sign in will draw for heat race starting positions, regardless of their engine C.I. displacement (up to and including 360C.I.) and will receive passing points to determine their straight-up from points feature race starting position. All drivers make sure to read the posted rules at the series website prior to heading to the track, as all posted Sprint Car Bandits rules and procedures are in effect.

Mufflers (now optional), RaceCeivers and Transponders (yellow Westhold) are required.

The www.KoolTrikes.com Heat Races will pay each sprint heat winner $50 from Randy Butler of Kool Trikes!

This event is also part of the www.SmileysRacing.com 4 Pack Bonus program that awards the SCB Fierce 15 teams with added bonus money, paid out for their support of the Series in increments of each ‘4 Pack’ of SCB events completed throughout the season.
