I like them sanctioning the Dirt Classic, should help with the car count. Also, the Hagerstown date is interesting.

Ohio speed week sucks, still missing fremont(even with farmer outnow) and no waynesfield, total of around 1100 miles for the week criss crossing the state and still have to maintain cars (when will they put a more logistic minded schedule together for the teams), attica will be the best show and probably wont have the following they have had in the past at the rest of the week.

Some notes from my perspective...

  • Ohio Speedweek...
    • Waynesfield out
    • Mansfield in
    • Wayne County get 2 dates, including the 10k to win finale
  • As dsc1600 mentions, Dirt Classic at Lincoln now an All Star show
  • Still no Fremont
  • 2 Atomic shows Sept 13-14 (Dean Knittel Memorial 12,554 to win)

When you race 9 consecutive nights and the average drive is just over 2 hours, can you really complain? Speedweeks should be greuling. $500 to start, $5k-$10k to win plus tow money. It's not as simple as the All Stars just piecing together a schedule that benefits only them. The promoters have opinions as well.

They'll average 45 410s for the week and we'll all consider it a success.

Waynesfield doesn’t have a promoter right now.

Always wondered why Eldora doesn't have more dates. 10-15 years ago it seemed like they were there alot more.

Any word on format?  All-Star or the Dirt Classic format?

Looks like Selinsgrove lost their date.

Dates just didn’t line up for us at Selinsgrove. Hopefully back next year.

All-Star Format will be the same as last year.

Dirt Classic will decide on the format for their race.

Typically, the Selinsgrove National Open was the Saturday a week after the Tuscarora.  This year, the All Stars are running 2 shows at Atomic that weekend.  So my guess is they decided to run there instead of Selinsgrove this year.

Selinsgrove wanted to stay on their traditional weekend for that event.

All the great tracks in IN but only 1 date at Plymouth. Was hoping to see Kokomo again at the end of the year. Such a shame.

The last 3 Speedweek shows at Hagerstown had car counts of 32, 33 and 36 so I don't know how you figure that most teams don't support Hagerstown.

Pet peeve:   Schedules that only have the track name and not the location of the track.

If you go to the main website’s schedule tab it has the locations on it.

I like how the Dirt Classic is now sanctioned, which in turn will bring more cars. Then it drops back down to 20k to win. Makes sense.
