Cant understand why when it comes time for a big race at Selinsgrove there is always something to take cars away this time there is three things The Jim Ford Classic at Freemont will keep all the Ohio guys in Ohio except the All Stars minus Tim Shaffer going to Freemont.

The Canadian Nationals will take Mark Smith to Canada maybe some other 360 guys.

Gio Selzi back in Cal. for the weekend Parker Price in Canada so it looks like Brown and the All Stars against the Posse minus Dewease .

Lets hope all the locals support it may be the last chance to make good money with the Outlaws coming for all the other big races except Lincoln.

I'm thinking about 30 to 35 cars. That's plenty!

I agree.....still not sure why a lot of Central Pa teams don't support the track. I am looking forward to Saturday. It looks like the weather will cooperate.

So Nelligan can rub it in everyone's face when Tony or Brownie wins.

IMHO a "dream team" should be able to travel 106 miles for a $10,000.00 to win all star show on a saturday night.  considering the fact they traveled 96 miles last friday for a$10,000.00 to win all star show.

Long time powder blue 69k fans first developed in the early to mid 80's at Selinsgrove when it was winning everything in sight there including a $50,000 show at selinsgrove continue to be disappointed.

According to her schedule, Don will be at Lincoln Saturday because his daughter Kassidy is racing in a 305.

I'm sure they're able to, but they choose not to

Its their option

Selinsgrove is a big boys track with serious corner speeds at both ends, that does keep some teams away. Car count will be fine, weather looks good and I plan on enjoying a race at my favorite half mile track in south central PA. Tonight I gotta settle for the other grove but I'll be glad to see my friends and hope for a decent race.

X-100 that was just flat out hard racing.  Kudos to Selinsgrove and most importantly the drivers for the courage to entertain all the fans in attendance tonight.

Just got home from my favorite half mile and am still grinning. That kid in the 51 might have some talent. Exciting night of high speed sprint car racing and an efficiently run program.

Yeah Steve Inch selinsgrove announcer and Blake ASCoC announcer said Lucas's 136 during his heat race and also Aron Reutzel time trial lap where he missed Pitman's track record by .06 entering turn 1 at over 140mph.

I believe the late great Bob Weikart  said "selinsgrove is the Knoxville of the east."

I read because the cars were sucking too much fuel due to the conditions and there were concerns about drivers running out before the 30 laps.

AWESOME RACE!!  They announced the drivers voted to cut the laps from 35 to 30 because of the fuel usage during the night because of the air.  They knew they couldn't make it  35 laps without a fuel stop.

That track was perfect all night long!!  Kudos to whoever prepared that track!

There is no doubt that Selinsgrove is hands down the fastest track in Pennsylvania. When the track is like it was last night, the speeds are downright frightening. I had to miss my first National Open/Nace Memorial in 12 years last night. Judging by the highlight video, it looks like I missed a good one. And props to Selinsgrove for running an efficient program and getting everyone out of there at a decent hour. That's a rare deal in PA these days. If Williams Grove had run a tighter program on Friday likr Selinsgrove did (aside from the issue with the leaking fuel cell after the crash in turn 4. Nothing they can do about that) they would've been able to get the show in before that shower passed over and rain it out even with the delay due to the crash on lap 1.
