I'm gonna go out on a limb & say Schatz isn't winning this year...

Sweet or Larson my first picks, LONG shot is Schuchart

Of course we all assumed the same thing the year Schatz won from the B......

Watch out for Kerry Madsen and co in the second half of this race.  I think this is as wide open as we've seen in few years.   I also think Sweet will set a torrid pace but it's all about those last 25 laps , and particularly the last 10. This is gonna be fun

Schatz hasn’t been as fast as normal this week and Sweet has been the fastest. I’d put Schuchart as 3rd fastest behind Sweet and Larson. It’s still Donny at Knoxville though, so he’ll be there at the end for sure.

I agree. There are a lot of guys going good enough to win this year. Larson and Sweet obviously have the speed. Then as you said, The Madman will very likely be in the mix and this is Knoxville we're talking about so you know Brown might be in the mix. Schuchart would be starting much further up if not for his mistake on his qualifying night. He has been among the fastest cars every time he hits the track and he is as good at passing cars as anyone so he could mount a charge as well. With all that said, Donny starts 4th. Donny has won this race just about any way imaginable and his charge from the back the other night was typical Donny. If anyone of those other guys do win, they gotta beat the 15 and we all know how that usually goes so my money is on him.

Since this race has gone to fifty laps, it has been as much about race managemnt as it has been about speed. It always has been, to a degree, but now more so than when it was a thirty lapper. If Schatz doesn't have mechanical issues he will of course be in the hunt, and whoever beats him is going to have to be error free, or be putting enough pressure on Donny that causes him to make a mistake. Donny doesn't choke or panic! I can see one, maybe even two guys out in front, with Donny chasing, and a mistake allowing Donny to grab the opportunity to win. If Donny gets out front, I don't see him screwing up. When it comes to error free, I'd say Larson, or Shaffer out front is the best bet agianst Schatz. As fast as Sweet is, he has to stay in control of the situation, and that may be his biggest challenge. Too many of the others are prone to making mistakes in big moments....imo. But....that's why they race!

Larson error free? He looks like he is going to wreck every lap he makes in a sprint car!

Yeah and he wins more often than not doing it too.

Schatz said in an earlier interview a few weeks back that he'd rather follow then lead..Pounce in the last two or three laps..

I agree Sweet or Larson. If Sweet gets the jump and not many yellows he could run away with it. Larson could do the same.

I didn't say he wasn't fast or didn't win. Its' just if I'm picking somebody to crash out, its larson.

FYI......Larson out front is a lot different compared to when when he's chasing.....and my post mentioned him being out front....

Your trifecta should be 1) Schatz, 2) K. Madsen, 2) Macedo. Sweet and Larson too aggressive, probably will cause yellows, go to rear

I think those 2 are brothers in law.   int the A-Main there is also Madsen brothers, Scelzi brothers, and the Shark family .      There is a chance for another McCarl could make the A-main too.

What a great race! 3 way battle between Sweet, Kyle & Schatz was terrific

One thing bad about watching on PPV, you have to watch what they choose to focus on. Wish I could have kept an eye on racing back in the pack too...

Congratulations Brad Sweet!

Cannot believe he kept that pace up . That 49 was half a second faster than the entire field all week.  Congrats Big Cat.

True,  but they kept focusing on Larson and Schatz trading sliders.    Can't get much better than that

Logan goes from 18th to 7th. The mistake killed him. He was just as fast as your top 3. But, that's knoxville. What a race !!!

Best racing and best racetrack!  Always fast at the beginning of the night then slicks off a little by feature with a cushion!  Great racing all 4 nights.  Sweet ran the wheels off!

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!

Assuming it was a very late bedtime in Kville. Biggest race of the year and sounded like maybe the best racing and almost no discussion as of 9 AM. Haha. Sounded like a good one on dirtvision

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!
