I haven't seen much regarding this $50,000 to win race coming up in about 10 days at Ventura.... Kyle Larson won the Midget portion of the event last year.. this year they added the incentive that if you win both the Midget AND the 360 race you will win $50,000!
Seems like it would bring quite a list of non-wing (and maybe winged) drivers to try thier hand? Just wondering if anyone has heard of any big names heading out West for the event?

Went to Oval Nationals Saturday, which was a great race by the way and that is coming from a Winged sprint car fan, and these non wing guys put on a hell of a show and Perris Auto Speedway is a top notch facility. In regards to Turkey Night, which i plan on going both nights, they made mention of the event, but nothing of the $50K bonus at all thru out the whole evening. I would have expected to hear it multiple times, hyping it up, but not a mention. Surprising to say the least. Ventura Speedway had a driver list on their FB page but has not been updated in a couple weeks, so who knows who will be here for it.

Released the midget entry list today and its incredible. Your usual USAC Midget tour guys, Bacon, Bayston, Robinson, Shelton, Courtney, Grant, Golobic etc. USAC midget deubt of Zeb Wise for Clauson-Marshall, Brad Sweet in the Dooling 63 midget, Kevin Thomas Jr, Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson, Plus your west cost guys like Cory Elliott, Swanson, etc. Going to be a great turkey night this year.

Wow! So, they did get a good list going on Facebook! Looks like between USAC Midgets and Sprint cars about 125 cars!
Maybe Kyle Larson's woe's (from other discussion ;)) will be long gone after Thanksgiving!

I think the 50k is pretty safe, not many double duty drivers at all. Thought there would be more
