Peter Murphy is looking for sponsors to support the “4th Annual Peter Murphy Classic” on April 21st & 22nd. Held at Tulare’s Merle Stone Chevrolet Thunderbowl Raceway, the USAC West Coast Sprint Cars will compete on Saturday night (April 22nd) along with the King of the West / NARC Sprints and the Legends of Kearney Bowl Vintage Cars.
Murphy wants to improve on last year's purse and have more racer bonuses. Last year's main event paid an impressive $4,000 to win and $400 to start.
