I have seen it mentioned he is back in his father's sprint car. Anyone no were there racing ? Is he going to go on the outlaw tour ? Is there no substance to the rumors  ?  That would not surprise me, always liked the kid, he just got caught up with the wrong people.

Nobody said they were twisting his arm. Yes, he new what he was doing. IMO, it was a shame because the kid WAS talented and hopefully he is doing well know and we may see him back to wheeling a sprint car, again, if rumblings are true.

I hope he does come back, not many who can catch him with a good sprinter. GO TYLER!

Give it a rest.  Be a man and quit talking about others and bring up something relevant about racing not somebody's personal faults. STFU.

Think of this question as a normal conversation. If he came up to you and asked this question and you did not know the answer, you would likely reply, I don't know. But when people get behind a keybaord and have nothing to bring to the conversation, they have the opportunity to go off topic and suddenyl be the ignorant and rude. You think Tyler is a P.O.S., fine, feel that way. But he didn;t ask you to tell you how you feel about rhw choices he made. The question was does anybody know what his plans were and is he driving for his dad again. But as usual, on message boards and comment sections, people with nothing to say have to find something and get their 2 cents in. Move on.

Are we really going to do this again?  Let's talk about something else, like how we are watching the greatest sprint driver of all time, in his prime, clean the f#*K up. Or how the only sprint car driver who might be better than that guy,  racing NASCAR, could have won every single race so far. Every time someine asks what Tyler is up to, it turns into a t-dub bashing thread and nobody answers the question. It's a little unnecessary at this point. Enjoy Schatz. Enjoy Rico. Enjoy Larson.

Or, we could use this sprint car fan forum as a message board......you know.... a place where sprint car fans voice their opinions on various topics.  ???  Just a thought.

Why are there so many police all over this board with rules as to what can and cannot be commented on?  If you don't like the conversation, move on to a topic which interests you.  If the conversation interests you, chime in with your two cents.  No one engaged in slander on this topic so far.  No false accusations.  No made up fake news.  People commenting on things someone did in the past and others defending him because they don't care.

Seems to me to be what this forum is for.   Should I start another hockey thread so you guys have something to bitch about?

I just hope the rumor of tyler racing again is true, tyler can really handle a sprinter and would make the WoO tour one to watch.

Personally, I don't think anyone, regardless of talent, that has a history of drug or violent felony convictions should be allowed to partisipate as a driver in any motorsports event.

Here's an entirely different perspective. Maybe the guy is washed up, over the hill.  At one time he had it, but he's not a young kid anymore and he hasn't been honing his skills constantly against good racers. If he were to start racing again, I'd see it as an uphill battle. If he raced some WoO races, I could see him getting a top 10 finish now and then.

Glory days
They pass you by
Glory days
In the wink of a young girl's eyes
Glory days........
Glory days

I hope this is true.  Could be wrong, but I sure wouldn't think that his Dad would take the chance of putting him in a car if he wasn't clean.  Who knows if it's true or not, but seeing great talent behind the wheel can never be a bad thing.

Enjoying the benefits of being born to wealthy parents?     Not a crime, sprint car racing  has been blessed with a number of those over the years, money has always powered speed at every level.   some handle that pressure better than others....

To be honest, I don't care if Tyler is racing again or not, I just hope that he's doing well and his tough times are behind him because that's no way for anyone to live. If racing is part of that then that's great, and if it isn't but he's doing well, then that's fine too.

A lot of talent at one time. Was on his way in Nascar but blew it.Was a threat in WOO at one time.If he can pass test no reason he shouldnt race as he can add excitement[no life time ban like NASCAR].Right now with Sheldon, Rico,Larsen when he can,and Gravel,Bobbys two, there are several younger exciting drivers that draw fans.People like the young guns  in Nascar look what Blaney and Elliott and Larsen have added. Not related to sprint cars but the 10th ranked UFC gal would KO Busch and Logano in short time. Monster trucks and UFC know how to promote excitement are not boring like Nascar can be.
