All I know is that it is undoubtedly the best clay in Pennsylvania. 4 classes last week with double econo late features, and there was grip to wall. No dust. Fucking beautiful. Not quite the grip this week but still a great surface. The track prep up there is the best of 2016.

The 27 should be considering an apology tour after the contact and running people all over the track Friday night...man panic on lap 1 after seeing the 21 under him reminded me of the early crash at Port when the 3 was stuffed into the wall as the 69k showed his nose.

desperation racing has been expensive for Port point contenders even when they are runnig other tracks..

Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Congrats on still being the biggest d*ck on Hoseheads. Oh, and the least knowledgeable as well. You prove that with every post.

I don't know what your talking about man.  And I think I subscribe to your YouTube channel so I assume you know a little about racing??  Name one track in PA that's had better track prep than Port this year??? There hasn't been

The incident on the start was a racing deal. With Ott and Marks on the front row and the track being heavy and fast, the initial start would was crucial. Esh & Hodnett both went for it and they got together. To be fair, damn near everyone was driving a little crazy Friday night. Indistinctly remember Austin Hogue making a quick left hand turn on the frontstretch and damn near fencing Troy Fraker and then Montieth threw that less than stellar slider and brake checked Buckwalter in the middle of turns 1 & 2 plus countless other moments I noticed where guys were using each other up bad. Seems like the only person who ever gets held accountable is Hodnett yet when any other driver stuffs someone (like I've seen Lucas do AT LEAST 3 times since the infamous dust up between him and Hodnett) no one wants to talk about it. There isn't a driver out there who hasn't done something that can be conceived as dirty but it's only select ones who get any shit for it.

I'd love to see you strap your ass into one and give it a try. Brent has been fast and consistent all year, especially come feature time. His biggest issue is the fact that he hasn't been great early in the night and has often found himself starting mid pack and having to dig out of a hole to get a decent finish. He's passed as many cars as anyone this year. By the way, you can keep bashing Port Royal regulars all you want but Hodnett is still the leading feature winner at Lincoln this year so if the Port regulars are so lousy, what does that say about Lincoln's regulars?

It is good clay but to be honest, the prep hasn't been too good lately. They need to get just a little more moisture in it or quit packing it down so hard with the push trucks every time a little bit of a cushion starts to develop. It isn't terrible by any means but it would be nice to see a good bottom and top groove like it was not too long ago. Anymore, hardly anyone goes anywhere on the bottom. They just spin the shit out of their tires and get freight trained. It's nice to watch them run the wall and everything but if you want to see a good race, there needs to be options which hasn't really been the case much this year. It's still good but it hasn't been near as good as the previous few years.

Take everything BS Strawser says with a grain of salt. He's a Selinsgrove homer and loves to bash Port. Those were some pretty impressive car counts at SelinsDust on Saturday huh. Yikes!!!! Meanwhile Port had 26, 28 and 32, good, not great,  numbers.  BRING ON FAIR WEEK RACING!!!!!! Nothing better.

Lernerville's been consistently good.  Few bad nights here and there but overall been pretty great (especially for larger shows)...just sayin. Different area of the state, but good nonetheless.

Don't be an ass. Selinsgrove is an awesome track and so is Port Royal. As far as dust, Port has been every bit as dusty as Selinsgrove so if you're really hell bent on getting a jab in, I definitely wouldn't go there. I wouldn't talk about car counts either. Port's car counts haven't exactly been spectacular either. Their sprint field is on the brink of going to complete shit. I think it's time they stop pumping money into the support classes and put that emphasis on the sprint car class because without the sprints, Port is in trouble.

Port Royal is the most improved facility for several years running...Selinsgrove will not get another dime from me.

Hahahaha. Port's sprint fields in trouble. Don't be a dumbass. Let's see, on any given Saturday barring big races elsewhere the field consists of Hodnett, Marks, Esh, Wagner x 2, Zearfoss, Buckwalter, Taylor, Wolfe, Heimbach, Lafferty, and about 50% of the time, DD and Ott. They also get guys like Cisney, Sammons, Barger, Erdley, and others that may not be the threat to win that the big dogs are but can win and have done just that, except for Sammons I believe. Not to mention the rest of the lower dollar teams which every track has. And they've seen many races this year where guys from western Pa have rolled in to run. Yeah, they are in real trouble with those bunch of scrubs there, lol. I know you couldn't have been serious with that comment so I'll just laugh it off.  And I go to Port every week and there have only been a few weeks where the dust was bad, other nights it was tolerable. After all, it is a DIRT track. Port is by far the premier facility in Pa. Just take a poll of the drivers and find out for yourself.

Do you promise this time? You have been bashing Selinsgrove for years, saying you will never come back but you always do. Do us a favor and keep your word this time, stay at Lincoln with the rest of the porch dwelling posse seat sniffers you call friends.

Jesus Christ dude take damn pill. I didn't say Port is horrible or that it's a dump or anything. I'm just being honest about the circumstances. I'm not saying the field is terrible but Lincoln is averaging a good many more cars for their regular shows than what Port is. Sammons and Barger are hardly there anymore and Heimbach and Lafferty have missed a bunch of races this year. Port's field is much older too. Not near as much young blood. Maybe some will surface but as of now, Lincoln has a good bit more up and coming talent. Marks will be headed out on the road sooner rather than later, Hodnett, Mike Wagner, Doug Esh aren't getting any younger. Erdley isn't either and he's now out of a ride again which sucks. I'm not saying it's terrible now, but in 2 or 3 years, it looks as if quality and quantity may become an issue and I hope they are proactive in trying to see to it that the sprint field stays decent. I'm not bashing them. I love the place. As far as the dust, all I said was Port is just as dirty as Selinsgrove after you bashed Selinsgrove for being dusty. I'm not bitching about it. I don't care about dust, never have. Anyone with a fucking brain and 2 functioning eyes can see that the track prep at Port hasn't been as good as the last few years.

Maybe you should listen to some of the drivers interviews after the races.

How does that pertain to my question?

Good. Stay the hell home so we don't have to listen to you bitch about it. For someone who claims to rarely go to Port, you sure don't miss a chance to bash the place do you? I said previously that Port's surface hasn't been as good lately as it was but you make it seem so much worse than what it actually is. It isn't even bad, it just hasn't been real good. To their credit, it's extremely smooth which the drivers obviously love. I just feel personally it's just a little too much on the slick side. That said, the racing there is still pretty good and the fair shows are going to be awesome just like they have been for decades. You're obviously miserable and don't like having fun because whether or not the actual racing is good, the fair races are still a damn good time. Always have been, always will be.
