Boy Brian Brown had a bad night will he run Fri.now ? (=

Brownie's running Friday (He just Tweeted that they were running Friday).

Not sure if he even has the choice. With the new format only the top 16 A main cars and the next 8 or so cars in points can start the front of the B main. With Brown being around 20th in points after night one that put him around 40th overall which doesnt even give him the option. The only way he doesnt run the Friday show is if we somehow didnt get tonight in and the Thursday show was ran Friday. Then we would go back to the old points system where the middle of the C main on up is locked and the rest run a Saturday day show to fill in the back half which would put Brown likely in the back of the B main. Hopefully that doesnt happen. Just wasnt a great track for Browns driving style.... also heat 2 was loaded and the track was still quite narrow at that point.

The first year they did the "new" Friday format was excellent, hoping for more of the same.

Some top notch drivers will be going at it!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the first year they did the new format, Danny Lasoki gave up a front row B Feature guarantee to race for a spot that would lock him in to the A Feature. He had problems that night and I think he ended up towards the back of the B Feature if not worse. Would need to research to be sure.

I too, love the new Friday format when they are able to run it.  Praying they get the whole show in tonight so they can run the new Friday format tomorrow night.  Otherwise if they have to run Saturday afternoon, they revert to the old Friday non qualifiers format which kinda sucks!!!
