I just saw that on August 23rd, Fremont is having the 305 sprints meet for a $1200 to win race....during the County Fair!
How awesome is that? First time since 1976 evidently. Good move Fremont. Maybe turn some new folks into sprint car racing fans!
A couple of fairgrounds around home here have racetracks....and every time I go to the fair, and sit under the grandstand watching the tractor pulls or the demo derby or the tuff trucks....I fantasize about seeing sprint cars racing there...during the fair!
