Does anyone know what really happened? Is there really a penalty?

According to Badland's Facebook page there really is a penalty. It says Terry can't participte in the next 2 race weekends, which includes the big.

TV adds for the big race feature footage of Terry racing.  Perhaps a disclaimer should be noted on the bottom of the ad? Something like "some racers shown in this commercial may be racing farther away than they appear".

Haha.  I sometimes disagree with you Murph, but that is some funny stuff right there.

You give the impression that you were there and saw what happened?
If so, I'd be interested in hearing what you saw go down.

Eyewitness report and this will be my last post as I am tired of this whole matter. First I will tell you that I have been a fan of Terry and Lori for many racing seasons. Terry is a great driver, an excellent promoter, he is engaging, he can be funny and he is responsive to his fans and sponsors. I have watched him loose his temper and would hope that he would cool off before doing something stupid. Sometimes he did and sometimes he didn't. Just so everybody will realize that this latest infraction of rules is nothing new for Terry I will remind that he was once suspended from Knoxville for THREE WEEKS for unsportsmanlike conduct, was suspended from Husets for fighting another driver, has thrown flower pots and wrenches in temper tantrums when he thought that was the proper way to vent his feelings. Last Saturday night at the Badlands Motor Speedway Terry, and not Austin, shoved an official. He did not punch or swing but he did shove. His two week suspension was imposed in very clearly written rules in the Badlands rule book. Terry is his own worst enemy and it is a shame as he will not be able to compete in a very rich race that he would have been a contender. I still firmly believe that if Terry would admit he was wrong and apolgize to all involved his suspension might be reviewed and maybe lifted. I would hope so. I have absolutely no connection to Badlands Motor Speedway so you can save your thoughts on that matter. You can respond to this message if you want but I am done and finished on this forum.

Badlands just tweeted he has been suspended two race weekends. Wonder if that definition means he won't be eligible for the Gold Cup?

good news Terry has agreed to take his racing skill to Sedalia to run the High Roller Classic on aug 21st $15,000 to win, this will be part of the Missouri State Fair.
