Should actually say "memphis wins in FL."
|
Just like it's always says New Oxford's Stevie Smith ;) . What I find more interesting than the location of the winner at any point in his life, is that the team switched to those 'shitty' XXX frames from Maxims that had given both the team and driver sucess....and dominated the first night out.

Was this his frist night in the XXX? We were wondering if he might have ran it at the World Finals in 2014 as a shakedown. XXX' are startings to take over in Pa land.

He ran a Triple X at Susky in November and the World Finals at the end of last year.

Disregarding the entire usual banter, I died laughing at your signature about the 305's. Go Greg!

China Posse? Who cares? I'd rather see an outlaw win in an American made car.

Cubes, what's going on here?
Outlaws take night 2, 8 of the top 9. Probably a fluke.

What does the two lobes of a whale's tail and an"off the porch win" by a Posse member have in common? They both are flukes.

Sir Mike,
Johnny Gibson once said "Stevie Smith defends Lincoln Speedway for the Pennsylvania Posse" as he crossed the line last May.

Anthony my old friend, nice to hear from you, can you do something about your basketball team, lol? The Smith family is Royalty at Lincoln and they should be! I have heard Stevie introduced at many, many tracks over the years and for a very long time it's been Broken Arrow as where he is from. Having said that, they still say Australia (Sans Souci, I think) for Kerry Madsen and he's been here more than a decade also, lol. Stevie will and always should be referred to as Posse when being introduced or winning in Posseville, always believed that, even if he left a long time ago....

Posse winning off the porch, while agreed not a common occurance, certainly is not rare. In addition to Hodnett; Rahmer, DeWease, Stevie Smith, and Danny Dietrich have all won 'off the porch' Looking back historically Keith Kauffman (wins in 13 states and Australia), Frankie Kerr (ASCoC champ in '91, '93, '94, and '97) and Jeff Shepard have wins outside of Pa. Donnie Kreitz won the King's Royal in '86 and Todd Shaffer won the track championship at Sharon Speedway ( well outside the confines of Posse land) in 1991. I also beilieve that P J Chesson had an outlaw win at Eldora (could be wrong on this one).

Congrats to Greg and all of Heffner team on amother good run tonight finishing 4, should increase his points lead on Pittman since Pittman finished 10. With one night left, Hodnett could bring home the championship.

I was watching the Discovery channel last night and they have a program coming up about strange phenomena. One short segment is going to be about the recent posse win in Florida.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Posse is as good as they ever was... Volusia 2013...

Take Schatz and his Posse king maker Ricky Warner out of the picture and the Posse has had the Outlaws covered for 15 years. Maybe Pittman learned enough by joining the Posse to finally be able to beat them regularly and give the Outlaws 2 cars that can beat us. Remains to be seen.

Interesting results.
Posse takes night 1, 30+ posts
Outlaws take nights 2,3,4 and 5 plus the overall title and less than 10 posts. Weird....
