Badlands just tweeted he has been suspended two race weekends. Wonder if that definition means he won't be eligible for the Gold Cup?
|
I'd guess it includes this weekend and next weekend. He was going to Britt tonight anyway and is entered into the 360 Nationals at Knoxville next weekend. So it allows Wastelands to look like they dealt a heavy hand to TMAC when in reality it cost TMAC one night of racing there.
Not a chance that Chuck keeps TMAC from running the Gold Cup after he's been running advertisements specifically saying come see TMAC take on the best of both wing and non wing drivers.
It will be interesting to see where the 24 and 17 race next year.

According to the Badlands Speedway press release on Facebook, Tmac is suspended for the Aug 6,7 weekend & the Gold Cup Weekend.

"Wastelands" changed the game. Deal with it. Been to Jackson and Knoxville this season. They're closer to as good as Knoxville than you'd think, and the racing and the running of the facility is far superior to Jackson.

That's a joke looks like a 2 week vacation for Knoxville nationals, This is a bullsh&t plan.So he can race the 360 and 410 nationals, Plus people must not think much of the track guy.You can punch his lights out for a 2 week vacation. You'd think season ending!.But don't forget he's the same guy that called Doug Clark a blind one eyed N-word on front shoot at Knoxville in front of all the fans and kids. When is he going to feel alittle of the same! For all the shit he pulls. He's not Steve kinser! Just plan old terry McCarl? I think it's great to stand your ground and not put up with anyone's shit but he's a roll model to many kids around the area, Plus look at all the rides he has lost due to his actions. Ron pack 4 car, plus hundreds of others. Once a jerk,Feeding him money and power can't help.Im sure he walked around the the place like he owned it,The hired gun that he is. I think it's really a scam to free him up to run Knoxville. Funny it's around the Nationals time.

There's no badlands 410 point race the Saturday of nationals, plus the press release says for this weekend and the weekend AFTER nationals. Retry your post again.

Terry McCarl is an excellent race car driver who can compete with the best in the country and win BUT his hair thin explosive temper has caused him countless confrontations over the years. Maybe a true test of his character and dignity would be for him to admit he was at fault and offer an apology to all involved. It might even get his suspension reviewed and possibly lifted.

I can remember the time that Terry was banned from Husets for life. I guess that changed at some point.

Just food for thought, The Gold Cup is a WoO sanctioned event. That being said if Terry is a "paying WoO member can/could World Racing Group make the decision for him to compete in the Gold Cup? If Badlands has the control of this whats to say they could ban any WoO car from competing that weekend? I'm no lawyer, just curious to the what if's

I think if he's a card carrying member of the WoO, they can't keep him from running.
However, I remember Greg Wooley hitting an Official at the Knoxville Nationals one year and he was given a 1 year suspension and couldn't race any WoO races at Knoxville the following season either.

As a business and property owner, Chuck Brennan can refuse to let anyone on his property for any period of time he would like. The WoO has no control over this.

I think it depends on the language of the contract with the WoO more than likely.

I was thinking the same thing! Booting the 24 out could cost the track three cars total??
