Its going to take some great faith for sure since everyone brings the same exact equipment and mechanics with less talent than Ricky.  Basically a miracle needed to yield a different result.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

50 laps is plenty of time for Donny to lap the entire field.

You should actually learn something about sprint cars before opening your mouth. There's a lot of different stuff from car to car, you're just too stupid to see it because all you care about is the engine under the hood and whether or not it's a Ford.

Right on brother. May the best man win, whoever that may be and most of all, let's hope for a good safe race.

Anybody but Schatz,

Amen

Well Cubic, it might have taken a few years but your prayer has finally been answered.  And whoever might have decided not to go tonight because Schatz can't be beat got exactly what you deserved, you missed one of the most awesome races in years.

Oh well, it was good on The Cushion, but lacking the ELECTRICITY of being there live

I couldn't be happier with Jason getting the win. He's a great racer who hasn't exactly had an easy go of it the last couple of years. Congrats to Jason and the entire team on placing their name on the most prestigious winners list on all of sprint car racing. Excellent race too. Jason drove his ass off and earned it.

Electric it was!   When JJ went by Schatz for the lead I thought it would only be temporary, but he did a great job of holding him off for a long time and even seemed to pull away at times.   Then Schatz got back to him and passed him, but it was awesome watching JJ stick it right back under him and go back by.     The last five laps was extremely intense once we realized that JJ holding him off was actually a possibility.   I was screaming my head off during those last two laps.   I've watched JJ race for years in ASCS and think he is an immense talent.   Glad to see him finally put it all together and pull this off.

I went 4 yrs. in a row but missed the last 2. After watching Schatz win from 21st. a while back, I doubted I'd see anything that good again..

I was obviously wrong!

I knew I'd miss the vibes & methanol fragrance by watching on PPV, but the other thing with a broadcast is you can only watch what the cameraman focuses on, rather than picking which drivers or battles to follow live. I would like to have seen Larson & Hodnett's charges thru the field too...

I was there when Donny won from 21st too.    I agree that was an incredible feat to watch and glad I was there to see it.   I will say that Brownie made it exciting the next year passing Schatz late in the feature.   I picked up on Hodnett's climb and did watch a few laps of it.   I  was aware of Larson's charge too, but you're right it's hard to keep track of everything when you're watching an intense battle at the front.

If the 15 wins it, no big deal, If someone else wins it, the crowd will go crazy again. It was the same with Kinser all those years. I will still go to watch the Cali drivers.

I'm just waiting for someone to break the 42 year California winless streak. (Cali's last nats win 1971) Go Cali Clique!

THIS will be VICTORY LANE on saturday night...the CALI JINX will be BROKEN!

Larson gave a great storyline with #LetKyleRace, but in reality, the only way he wins or podiums is with chaos up front. 15/5 are too strong this year.

Hot take? Yep! Schatz was faster Wednesday, and the talent starting in front of him will prove to be way more difficult. I'd be willing to wager running from 21st to fifth last year is easier than running from 9th to win.

We will see tomorrow night. Can't wait to watch.

Gonna go out on a limb here and pick Gravel to wire the field.

with him and the 15 on the front row, only a disaster puts anyone else in victory lane. Everyone else is running for third- even Larson

Nobody is going to be passing Schatz and Gravel. Larson would need to hope one of them breaks and the other misses the setup. It will be a show up front with those 2. Gravel will lead most of the race trying to run away with it and will use up his tires IMO. Schatz catches him with about 8 to go and gets #10
