Fighting in hockey is allowed because it cuts down on cheap shots and let's the players police themselves...what a concept! I'll bet Cody will defend his honor in the boxing with the moron that insulted him? I'm a business owner and I like the wat he stood up for his honor, f...ck political correctness. Cody called him out and drew a line in the sand. Chris McIntire

I hope the punk ass Kole gets humiliated at the races this year. Good for Darrah, I am a bigger fan now, screw the "image" of racing for a top team and being a role model. Agree with Mr. Mac, political correctness sucks, call a spade a spade for goodness sakes. I've told my son several times sometimes enough is enough and you've got to stand up for yourself. A solid punch in the mouth is just what is needed sometimes. Hopefully Kole learned a lesson as well and it keeps him from really getting his ass beat in the future.

Surprisingly in Knoxville if you race cars you can get a judge on a Saturday to set bail so you can race that night...anyone else would have sat in jail until Monday...wonder how much that cost kasey to get his 2nd boyfriend out so he could limp into the A for from B to only be all over the place and out of control like usual.....just sayin

These posts seem real similar to the ones on the Greatflips4 twitter. Interesting?

Seems unfortunate, IMO, that more of this board's mouthy posters that bash the hell out of drivers don't meet up with the drivers in real life.

Amazing, just in the last couple hours the Greatflips4 and Kole Faragher's twitter accounts both went private. You can't tell me that someone with such an avid love for sprint car racing like Kole isn't sneaking a peak on Hoseheads and possibly see's whats transpired. We're all up for hearing your side of the story if you'd like to give it?
Be proud, your jealousy of Cody's career has just helped launch your name into alot of sprint car fans vocabulary, Maybe you can talk to Huset's about making a celebrity appearance at a show this summer.

No, it's a good example how a man handled a situation compared to how boy might, and I don't mean Parnelli.

I see exactly what you're saying.

I've been confronted with some of the stuff I have said about drivers on this board. I was a lot younger then. Not that I take it back but I learned a few things. Doing it in such a public place and faceless is wrong. One reason these days I keep my personal facebook asa link to who I am in real life.
I was about fake banned from the 50th Nationals and had a few threats, all for just standing up against the red flag mandatory stop. (Which I'm still against!) People going into Dingus were asking regulars who I was.....My red Flag comments were a whole personal opinion and I had people trying to find me to BULLY me to stop talking against the red flag! lol
-------------------------------------------------------
I'm thinking about going on an all racing diet. I can
only eat while at a race track. That might help get me
to more tracks.

Oh yeah it's great that Cody beat up this kid. He should have murdered him. That would shut him up for good! Some people on here are ridiculous. What Cody did was a crime, period. It's no way to represent yourself or your team. I own a Cody Darrah t-shirt and am not a hater at all, but a real professional would ignore the BS and prove it on the track. The best revenge is living well. You punch a competitor for crashing you on the track? Fine, that's endangering your life and in the heat of the moment. This greatflips fool was only making an ass out of himself. That doesn't justify a physical assault IMO. Sticks and stones.......

Just curious if anyone heard anything about Darrah and an incident outside the Red Carpet in Knoxville yesterday? I heard Knoxville police responded to an attack there and he was takin into custody. Wasn't sure what to believe being Cody raced last night. I figured he would have been in jail had this been true. Can anyone elaborate?

Innocent Until Proven Guilty
One of the hallmarks of the American legal system is the presumption that you are innocent until proven guilty. This isn't just an ideal, it's an actual legal presumption, which means the judge and jury must assume you're innocent until they are shown otherwise. This is why a defendant can "plead the fifth", remain silent, and not offer a shred of evidence to support his or her claim of innocence and still prevail. It is the prosecutor's job to prove a defendant is guilty, not a defendant's job to prove that he or she is innocent. So what does a prosecutor have to show?
Beyond a Reasonable Doubt
The prosecutor must demonstrate to the judge or jury that there is no reasonable doubt of your guilt. If any reasonable doubt can be shown, any at all, then the prosecutor has failed and you should be found innocent. Because this standard is so high, most defendants concentrate on raising some reasonable doubt to the prosecutor's allegations.

He's got a grind with a lot of racers its called America freedom of speech prolly why the big j report is so popular.....#sameperson
|
LOL Freedom of speech in the Constitution merely means that the government is not going to throw a person in jail because of something he/she says. It doesn't protect someone from getting an ass-whipping if you insult someone.

Will the WoO suspend Darrah? I think he has to sit out a few races. Also I think Kole should be banne from the pits for a few weeks
Provoked or not we can't have Woo drivers punching people in public. It just looks bad.
Who is this park, or even in the whole world, doesn't
have problems? Who doesn't have a drink too many times
once in a while and maybe even winds up passed out in
their own driveway, pissing themselves? Who doesn't
drink too much sometimes or who doesn't have a puff
from time to time? And who doesn't have problems with
the people they love? This is our home. This is our
community. I am Jim Lahey, and *I am your trailer park
supervisor!*

life was a whole lot easier when you could fix your problems man to man, without getting the law and lawyers involved. look at it now.....no respect because everyone knows they are not going to get their ass handed to them, no matter what they do. just like criminals know they can do anything they want caues most times, the victim wont defend themself.....the criminal has a gun, the victim plays by the rules and cause he does, he gets shot.....no respect.
maybe if this kid that was dissin cody knew he was gonna get his ass kicked, he may have kept his mouth shut and none of this would have happened.
imo.....way too much "sensitivity" and not enough "paying the price for your actions" nowadays
i wish more people would use cody's approach to fixing problems.

I would like to correct something that was posted before. I am ethically prohibited from discussing any specifics on any case; however, I would like everyone to know, that in Marion County Iowa, a Judge sees all individuals who were arrested the night before the following day. We have a judge do initial appearances 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Further, the Iowa Supreme Court has a scheduled bond chart, that defaults bonds to a certain level.
Sincerely,
Ed Bull
Marion County Attorney

Thanks for joining us at Hoseheads. Find it ironic you just stumbled upon this thread. How much did old man Joe pay for this to happen?
