I will say that the JIMCO motorsports team has everything that they need to win. There Motor program is one of the best in the country, The team knows what it takes to win and does its homework on new things to try. Sad this situation didnt work out for Mark and Jimco. I just hope we dont loose a car owner willing to do what it takes to win.

With his ego......and his money......selling for a $1.00 or $10,000.00 isn't the issue I'm afraid. I think he's in vengence mode, and would rather see sprint car racing in the area continue to slide. He didn't give two shits in the beginning about the real prosperity of racing in the area, so why would he now? It appears as though he feeds on the negative, and not the positive when it comes to certain things. And he can't admit that he was wrong, and that his "vision" failed. He failed to understand the racing community as a whole. Saddest part is this he could have been involved in a thriving venture, if he just hadn't got in his own way. Sioux Falls and the surrounding 100 mile plus area does have great race fans. He should have built on their excitement and cooperated with the other tracks. Instead, he thought he was invincible. He was wrong!

He may sound like a Dick, but he does bring up a good point. The pay at RCS is low compared to other 410 weekly purses, likely the lowest in the country.

On the other hand though, when they are averaging 20-30 cars every week, why would they pay more? They pay roughly the same as a local 360 show would have paid in the SD/MN area a few years back and average double the cars, in their 410 class. The reason the pay is so low, is because the cars still show up. There is no reason for NOSA to pay more when they have no issues with what they have. To be honest, I do not think most of them guys will miss that car there, as it gives some of the other guys a shot. Not saying they didn't before, because there are some good racers with good equipment that run NOSA, but still.

Most if the weekly racers are from that area and run on a tighter budget then you've got this one team capable of keeping up.with the Outlaws.  Although every racer wants to see bigger purses the current payout probably isn't a deal breaker for most of them or they wouldn't race at RCS.  They are the only Sprint show up there, most would probably swap racing for another hobby rather than travel.

if ya think what the sprints and lates run for is low, you should check out the B mods and streets!  winning about dosent pay for the money it takes to get to the track with the truck and trailer.  and they consistantly have enough B mods to have a B main most nights.  half the nights, a B in the streets.

River Cities is on par with every other track throughout the Upper Midwest regarding payouts for Streets and B-Mods. If you are mad at them for their payout, you may as well be angry at every other track in the Midwest.

B-Mod drivers have no reason to complain and are their own worst enemy.  They were supposed to be a beginner class that used old a-mod chassis, tires, parts, etc., etc.. And then everyone started to buy everything new and then started to complain about payouts.  If any classes of cars deserves more money, it's the sprints and late models.

Nope, not mad at all.  Love the fact people race cause they love it, and not for the money.  That being said, there is no way I could ever do it, for so little return. Too cheap, or poor, I guess

Danny is still one of the top 10 sprint active drivers.I doubt He will be driving it for same pay as Dobmeier was as thats his profession. Not many top rides out there. It water under the bridge but his deal with Smoke was the best deal He will ever have.

My wife and I drive 75 miles to RCS every Friday night and don't see where the crowds have dropped any in the past two years.  They get a great field of cars in all four classes, maybe a little light in the street stocks but thats fine with me, its a beginner class, and the crowds are probably bigger than most weekly shows in the 500 mile region, other than Knoxville, which is to be expected.

PS to above post:  sprint racing might benefit by Dobs not being there at the weekly program.  He's got by far far far far, the best equipment out there, comparable with any WoO team, so he beats them up every Friday night when there, which with his equipment, he should do.  Won't miss him unless they started him at the back every Friday night which he wouldn't do unless offered a double purse or something and that ain't gonna happen.  Sure as hell won't miss Mr. Grinde, I say good riddance to him and wiffee.

Here sir is where you are wrong, this move will only guarantee that mark is at RCS every Friday where in previous years he would race other big shows in the area on fridays (if the outlaws were in Wisconsin or Knoxville)  or like last year he ran every Jackson show on Fridays which took him away from RCS 6-7 times ,. Now when he gets his own car he will be racing RCS weekly

^^^agreed^^^ I hope he shows up with an open trailer pulled by a woodsided station wagon and beats who ever is the "new" driver at the outlaw shows when they decide to show up.
