For the record, there are 3 regular 410 tracks in central PA...

1)The Pink Hair Cow Palace...

2)The Port Whine and Cheese Emporium...

and

3)The Urine Soaked Grounds of the Fabulous Lincoln Speedway...

Part time tracks include...

Hagerstrain, Suckyhanna Speedway Park, The Grand Dustview and Bedford...

Just a little FYI so you can post more intelligently in the future... winkwinkwink

Selinsgrove runs a few 410 races as well.

My husband is a big Tyler Walker fan because, at Silver Dollar, he was always the most exciting (and sometimes scary) driver to watch. No matter if he's in the front or the back, he always over drives the car. We have been watching him since he was still driving for his dad Bob$.

Tyler Walker is a spoiled little person who has never had to provide for himself. He's popular with other driver's because he is fun to be around. He's fun to be around because the world has always been his play ground, and he does not need to take anything seriously because, like all rich kids, no matter what he does, someone is always there to bail him out.

He's not really a driver. He's a saver. He throws the car into a corner like he want's to die, then saves it. I guess there is some sort of skill involved, but it is a different skill than that of a true driver who has had to pay his own bills. Even Kinser became a better driver when it was his check book wearing out, and not Karl's, when he couldn't clear slider.

This means that without a phenomenal team behind him, he is just another rich kid that flunked out of NASCAR, although, from what I hear, flunking out wasn't from a lack of talent, it was for drugs. Apparently, the prize for blowing it in the big leagues is a ride in the best sprint car in California (at the time).

In the long run, he will win races back East. He will also impress fans with his dare devil driving and his forced, plastic, rehearsed, NASCAR style fan "appreciation" sound bites. I don't care what happens to him. I'm just glad he's not here in California anymore.

Now tell me who the biggest b!tc# in this thread is? See signature below.

Tarah, I don't think some of these people understand the concept of weekly competition, ie the racers that race weekly at a certain track or area. It's amusing when they bring up names of WOO racers(Myers, TK), racers who no longer reside or race regularly(McMahon, Hannagan) in their state and even names of racers who haven't raced in decades. LOL True, Cali has put some good drivers on the road. True, PA drivers tend to stay local and many drivers have moved to PA to race. If you ask me that's our gain and their loss. Now does Williams Grove have the toughest weekly competition? I'd like to think they are at or near the top. Attica/Fremont and Knoxville deserve to be part of the conversation as well.

PS. T-Dub finished 2nd at Susky tonight.

if lucas wolfe won a woo race you can be darn sure the PA crowd would be calling it a PA win. if cody darrah comes back and wins one you can bet the same would happen. they are both traveling outlaw drivers now. the PA people are claiming anyone they can as posse now-a days, even pittman. they will be claiming tyler as soon as he runs off a few wins. the guys we call cali are born and cut their teeth in cali and made their name in cali. tyler will always be cali no matter if cali wants to claim him or not. just like rahmer would still be posse if he up and brought his whole family out to live with BK. lol. those guys out there racing all over the country are still our local guys, no matter where they hang their hat each night. if meyers wins the woo title, you can be damn sure he will bring the trophy back here. i would expect that the fans from anywhere understand and would say the same thing. their guys are their guys. no matter where they are racing. half the PA names that tarah rattled off, although great racers, are getting to the point where their best years are behind them, but i still bet they bring them up for decades after they retire. now she or anyone else that wants to can attack or try to minimise the racing in cali, but they are going to get an ear full for doing it. i would expect that from any fan who loves their guys. so step off.

The funny thing about this thread is that with nearly 70 posts, there hasn't been a single BRR or Cubic Dollars post in the entire thread. Most of the thread is posters from Cali and one from Ohio bashing teams and fans they never see in person.

i have always said that the difference between a great pavement driver and a great dirt driver is this....

a pavement driver has to be able to push it right to the limit with out going over it and losing control.

a dirt driver has to be able to go past the limit and bring it back.

the definition of a dirt driver is to be able to save it after you have thrown it away.

a pavement driver has to do everything except throw it away.

a dirt driver has to throw it away and then do everything they can to bring it back.

to be able to throw a car away at the end of a straightaway and be able to bring it back and do it again, and again and still go fast and pass cars and win races is a talent that not many can master.

some of the really great ones have mastered both.

because at some point everyone loses it.

looks like you have lost it too.

to indy and beyond!!

Laugh away little boys! Two names going 17 for 21 on the win list speaks volumes of the level of competition in any given region. Jimmy Sills and Tim Green ! Really ?! Will someone explain to stupid, young Henry that it is now the 21st century.

The only thing good to say about it is that the car stayed in one piece for a change. Started 3rd, got 2nd on the start and it was single file on the bottom. I thought for sure he would at least try once or twice up higher but I guess second was good enough.

I'm not surprised. Yes, on some nights go for the win. But he's been having such bad luck this year that he's gotta be content with 2 top-5's this week. But it's Tyler, and he always wants to win. He will be in VL this week at the Grove.

According to his schedule, they aren't running this weekend.

They said that last week too. If I was that team I would definitly want to run this week because it's the last week of handicapping before like 6 or 7 straight TT races. And Tyler is starting up front this week. Makes no sense to not run and then go in and all the TT races and move back for handicapping. Mine as well run this week and try and win it.
