Keep on learning Cody,,,,you will do just fine with some seat time...

Seat time can be a good thing or it can be a bad thing. He is going to prove people right or wrong. Only time will tell.

Regardless, he'll die someday with 100% more outlaw wins than everyone that's bashing him, and I wasn't his fan in PA (said it before, I think the driver of the 5W is far and away better). Cody won a WoO feature in his local ride, that means he's accomplished more than most. Again, it must have been his extensive knowledge of Williams Grove at age 20 that did it for him....

A lesser financed team wouldve booted him many, many races ago. I think his time is running out of he keeps this up.

I find it very funny that those that started this thread, know nothing about Cody and his history in Sprint Car Racing. I understand "fans" wanting "their" driver to get a big break in a big time ride. But I am sure Kasey looks at talent from across the US, and I am sure he gets input from other sources as well. As far a Cody is concerned, give him time, and I think you will see why Kasey hired him. He can flat out drive the wheels off the car, And he has a WOO win already. But the "fans" will be exactly what we are seeing in this thread, "fans"

I don't think he is very good. But again he's young. But I think him getting let go from the Kasey Kahne team is coming soon.

cody still has the 1 lap qualifying record at knoxville from 2009 at 14.547 ...the other night blew motor on the white flag lap while running 3rd ..his fault? there has been an abundance of broken parts on his cars all season many while running up front which are not his fault. has he wrecked yes all his fault no ..... like dirt dog said i think cody tries too hard and takes chances he shouldnt because of the pressure to run up front....some times you gotta slow down to go faster.....im sure the big dogs tore up alot of stuff early in their careers
|
you may want to look that up, the qualifying track record is a 14.407 by Brooke Tatnell in may of 06

What was tweeted from knoxville was that Cody still had the record for the fastest national qualifing night from 2009 not the track record.
He will be alright no matter what direction this guy goes he has tons of support from many
