I am not going but plan on watching on Floracing. I was watching the national news tonight and they said that Tulsa ICU's are maxed out. what is the latest down there, are they moving dirt in r is it too early for that.
I plan on getting the vaccine when it becomes available but not the one partially funded by Dolly Parton because I'm afraid it might make my racing shirts too tight in the chest. J/K, bless her for her her good deed.

I'm guessing this will have an impact.

Previous to this announcement The Chilibowl had put out thier safety plan recommended by the Tulsa Health Dept and they have said they will follow all guidelines from the THD and the CDC. So not sure if this is a new hurdle. It may be something that has already been done.

And again I will be there. Safety Mask on face, enforcing my safe space around me, hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes in my back pack. I plan on following all rules including my own. I am going to enjoy the Chili bowl. The only place I get a whole season of racing in one week. Hope to see you there.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

They don't move the dirt in and make the track until the early part of the week of the Shootout - so probably after Christmas.

I believe that most if not all the dirt is already in the building. They had the BMX Nationals there last weekend and use tons and tons of dirt/clay to form that track. I assume it's the same material that's used for the ChiliBowl. Carol, I believe I read a post from you that stated that you will not be here. I always looked forward to seeing you each year. Hopefully next year, 2022 will be without any restrictions. Take care.

MSPN, They might as well lock the place up, as it appears that I won’t be there this year, unless I buy a scalped ticket for the Saturday final, if available. My group has reserved and paid in advance for 6 each tickets for 4 nights tickets for over 20 years. That’s about $1,400 worth. However this was not good enough to be included in the 25% of available tickets. It appears they went by seniority, starting with the all 6 night ticket holders, then the 5 night, etc. We're not bitter over this as we understand the hard choices that the CB team had to make. Oh well, all can be seen on my big screen without any worry about the virus, lines at the restrooms, high cost of food, parking and outrageous drunken fans. But gosh, I'll sure miss all of that misery.

Ha, we've set next to each other enough for me to know this as a fact dirtbutt; there is no safe space around you.

Two things. Do not stand up in front of me like you are at a NASCAR race. And if you need a friend buy a dog. Hehe You missed a good race at the Western Worlds.

First one in decades, and you know I was watching Flo. How did you manage to get a ticket? My friend cheroger, who's been going with his friends (see his post above this) for 20 years, and they still couldn't get seats. He gave the explanation they gave him, and it sucked.

Is there an advantage to certain qualifying nights? I saw a tweet from Walkapedia that it seems Bell and Larson have been Qual Night winners on the same night (Bell Thursday, Larson Tuesday if I recall) for several years now.
