Bigrob, they do have a 4 car draw and the 5-8 draw and 9-12 draw. Larson could have just as easily drew the 1 or 2.

Here is a picture of Kevin Swindell's ultra trick "Cheater's Front End" -- looks like a pretty basic coil over suspension. https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=579660918726613&set=at.149740251718684.27533.148972508462125.1407648669&type=1&theater

Here is Sammy's "Cheater Front Suspension" https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=577710545588317&set=at.149740251718684.27533.148972508462125.1407648669&type=3&theater

Doesn't look like anything particulary out of the ordinary. I was expecting an Independent front suspension or something off the wall. There maybe some details I can't see in the pics.

I am pretty sure sammy and kevin will hold there own anywhere, rules or no rules. I also am pretty sure sammy won the most woo races, as well as the most fast times in woo. That was with rules and he was the oldest driver out there. Dont bash them enjoy them its just hard work and dedication.

Sammy is a master of car setup. He studies setups, the track, etc. Go watch him in the pits. He, like Stewart, ignores the fans but he is ALWAYS tinkering with the car. Stewart is too busy talking with whoever and being an actual peckerhead to the fans. I've heard from multiple sources that the Esslinger the Swindell's run is nothing special. Sammy just knows how to setup their cars for that track...

Here is what Esslinger posted on their facebook page -- "Bam! Bam! Bam! And Bam! Kevin Swindel makes it a record FOUR in a row! ,Sammy finished second making it an Esslinger 1-2... And to anyone who isn't a believer in the economical Esslinger EST, take a look under the hood of the car that's won the Chili Bowl each time it's had an EST in it! The EST debuted in 2010 and has won the Bowl every year since! Not bad for a $19,500 complete package!!!"

Tony sucked at fort wayne this year.

He went from 8th to 1st at the halfway point on Saturday then spun because his brakes failed.

Strange, Tony Stewart doesn't mind cleaning up at Ft Wayne in a midget that isn't USAC legal. I like Tony Stewart, but he should shut his face when it comes to illegal midgets and at the dinner table, he would be faster in a midget if he lost 30 lbs.

It's funny when Don Moore made comments about how Tonys car was illegal for the rumble according to the rules and it was. Now Tony says it about Swindells cars. Karmas a bitch aint it Tony. The only differece is the Swindel cars were legal. Now if Tony would use his own words he had to say to Don. If you would put as much effort in your own cars Tony and quit crying about the Swindel cars maybe you could win another Chili Bowl. That is just paraphrasing what Tony said to Don.

The front downtubes actually angle inward, making the nose narrow. Most midget chassis don't do that. That definitely affects how the front end works.

If by sucked you mean, qualified 2nd(behind another illegal Munchkin), won his heat race, and dropped out of the feature while leading. He did suck.

Mechanical gremlins caught up with Smoke at Fort Wayne in December. He was running well, but a blown motor and loss of brakes on night 2 took him out. It is suprising that the Swindell's have not had any mechanical trouble the past 5 years..unreal for anyone.

Not here to argue, but just wanted to point out that the fast qualifyer at Fort Wayne was Derek Bischak in a Spike/Gaerte Ford on night one. Joe Liguori/Lebanon, IN Joseph Liguori/C&R Racing – Liguori Racing/POS-Jacobs/Volkswagen was 2nd fast, David Gough/Machesney Park, IL David Gough/Manic Racing – DSR Mechanical – Janssen Machine – Midwest Supplies/Thompson/Autocraft was third, and Tony Stewart 4th fast.

On night two it was Fedorcak 1st and Stewart 2nd in Munchkin's.

Okay, here are two shots of Tony Stewart's Midget this year. The downtubes taper in just like the Swindell's down tubes do.

Come to think of it, the front axle and suspenssion appears to be almost exactly the same as well.

So what is your next conspriracy theory Rogue-9? Other than you hate the Swindell's and the cars they bring that is.

Building a car especially for the chili bowl with a front end that wouldn't be legal anywhere else.

And he is not running the car anywhere else so get over yourself and dont go or watch the race next year, get over it

Every body else has the same option of building a car with a special front end just for the chili bowl but apparently aren't concerned enough about it to build one to compete, that is their choice. get over it

Does Kyle Larsen have of those special front end for his car? He seemed more than capable of winning before he spun out. again get over it.

What is stopping USAC from cooperating and running a USAC legal show the following week...in the same facility? And calling it the " we can screw up anything " bowl?

Stealth's wide body midget chassis angle in at the front as do Edmunds chassis.I think that Sammy's car is a wide body chassis.

On Tuesday Yeley outran Sammy in the RoC...where Sammy started on the pole. Yes, Kevin won. I'm with Balony, get over it or don't go. Sammy owns his car, understands how to set it up, and can drive. Kevin can drive. There were multiple cars that had the speed to beat them, but when you give them the front row and make a bunch of mistakes (Larson spinning, Bacon flipping, Stewart whining, McCreadie starting a little too far back, Beason going to the rear with a stuck bleeder before the race even started). Seriously, go watch Sammy in the pits. He works and works...and yes he has a few helpers.

I hate races that take the driver out of the car, not just the swindells. Like I said, eventually one team will figure it out, but then they will become the dominant car. Anyone who thinks Larson's car was as good is kidding themselves. The reason he spun in the first place was he had to overdrive the car just to keep up. And Yeley said in an interview that Kevin appeared to be playing with him in the RoC. I doubt Kevin was even pushing it that hard when Larson was racing him. Kevin was cruising and then got up on the wheel when Larson slid him and then drove it right back by. Then Kyle had to drive it in too deep to try to get back by and lost it.

Sammy had no brakes in the RoC, only reason JJ got by.

I don't have a problem with the cars. It is only cheating if you get caught, and if there are no rules, it is hard to get caught.

Do I think that Kevin and Sammy are benefiting from a superior technical advantage? Yes. Sammy only drives a midget once a year, but he does have years of experience. The last several years Kevin has had a very nomadic schedule. I don't think that he has a full time ride in any national series for the last two years, rather picking and choosing his rides. It appears that he is trying to create a NASCAR career.

It is hard for me to believe that Sammy and Kevin can win the biggest midget race five years in a row of the year over guys/teams that race midgets full time without some form of technical advantage. They do not have the midget experience that other people at the Chilli bowl. If the Kuntz team, or the Wilke team, or the Clauson team won five in a row, I would say it makes sense. For the Swindell team to do it, does not make sense unless they have some technical advantage.

PS I still hate Sammy.
