Well, maybe we will have to wait longer for this union, or maybe JFM is fielding 2 cars?

Kaeding out at JFM, Shane Golobic in for Tulare. TK also posted on Facebook that he needed a ride then had multiple offers. Wouldn't read anything into not driving for JFM at Tulare.

I have lived 3 miles from Eagle Raceway for many years. Attended many after race parties over the years. There was the famous 24 keg party 2 miles straight south of the raceway18ish years ago. I saw with my own eyes some WWW drivers partaking in more than Old Mill Light. 20-25 years prior to that Opperman was openly partaking and a legend to this day. I am not saying it is right, nor have I ever done so. I am just saying it is not the measure of the entire driver or man. If he did try to bring a large quantity on the hauler that was a big mistake but I bet he has learned and would never do so again. I would say if I was a plumbing business owner I would not employ someone who drove my vehicles 8 hrs a day all week.. But I could hire a million plumbers able to drive a van. If I owned a car and needed the talent Tim possess that is at a level no more than 20-30 drivers in the world have proven to have, I may amend my processes and hire for skill and manage for risk in action with the crew, myself, etc. Hell what do you think the NFL & NBA is full of? Heck our own NU football team has a know system and staff of "handlers". It is not like we are electing Presidents, appointing Secretary of Justices, etc who require a spotless record and in no way a dark past. Oh wait... The world and its people have layers like an onion. You may think you know it as the first layer you want it to be, but a few layers in many, many people are not the saints your mind makes of them.
Heck the catholic faith could cover it upright well only until the recent last 10 years. But then I just enjoy the races, not able to be judge and jury with anything but my front gate $ and decision as to if I find it rewarding to go as much as I used to. What impacts that the absolute most? Seeing drivers like Tim or not. Just my $.02.

Never say never. Great news for fans on the west coast. Tim will also be in Rod Tiner's 83 this weekend at the SIlver Cup in Chico.

So will Kyle Hirst not be back in time? Aren't some of these races KWS sanctioned as well? Or is it possible that Hirst will be in the 83sr?

No Kyle Hirst this year in the 83 car, at least not for KWS.

Well as long as their are no check points between tracks I think everything will be okay.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

Good for TK, bad news for Kyle Hirst who won two consecutive KofWest titles in the 83jr. But as Dennis Roth has often said "it's my money and I'll do what I want with it". Truer words are seldom spoken.
