Check out the response from Fremont Speedway over at pitgate.com.

"We are considering all options at this time. I am very disappointed in the words that I read those teams have built alot of the All Stars history over the past decade. Both the All Stars and the Renegades have done things that the sport or themselves should not be very proud of. Fremont will continue to focus on our weekly racers and the FAST Series as that is the most important things to us."

Here's the link to the entire thread:  http://www.pitgate.com/forum/pit-pass-area/4611-webbs-latest-remarks

Rich Farmer you have done worse and said worse.  You are right by Webbs side.  You are exposed as well.  Ask the drivers about Farmer,  Ask other promotors.  Ask how Rich speaks to other track owners and people.  You have tried to do more to destoy things and now you take the FAST on the road for your benefit.  You were the biggest ASCOC hater and then you joined up because creditable people would not deal with you.  Do your interview on AARN today!

Webb is trying to spread crap on crap, but it's still all crap.  First, he tries to defame the great drivers he named then he turns around and insults anyone who has raced his events in the past or may be considering racing with the Allstars in the future.

"I would first like to address the quote – “You cannot sell a series with B and C-level talent”. In conversation, I meant to convey that I don’t believe a series should be luring additional drivers and teams that do not have the experience, resources and equipment to race at unfamiliar facilities. To clarify, the “B and C-level” comment was not directed at any specific driver or team"

Not directed at any team or driver?   Examine this statement.  First:  he named NAMES!   How much more personal can it get.  Experience.  Webb already stated that he has no use for drivers over a certain age (they are only hanging on).  Where the hell does this dipshit think teams get experience?  X-box?  Resources & equipment:  So again, he only wants teams that have 53' trailers and semi tractors, the ability to spend thousands of dollars on graphics for tow vehicles and enough equipment in their trailers to impress anyone who looks in.  Essentially, unlimited budgets and full committments to running only his series.   Sounds to me that he doesn't want a series, only a traveling circus.    Unfamiliar facilities?  Seems to me that all it takes to run somewhere other than your home track is a truck, trailer and gas money to get there.  It is not up to Webb to decide what teams meet his criteria for going to his events.   Maybe he needs to put age restrictions, financial abilities and a pre-season personal "Webb" inspection of all the equipment a team has before allowing them to compete, in the rule book.    But it seems that many teams are not really welcome and certainly not respected by Webb .

“You cannot sell a series with B and C-level talent”.   OHg!
I just hope that any team/driver who reads this garbage from this no-talent, self appointed series dictator realizes exactly what he thinks of all the people who have supported this series, maybe not at a full-time level like he wants but at the level each team was capable of......read into it anyway you wish, but my opinion is that he has no respect for anyone that has supported the Allstar series either as a full-timer or one of the hundreds of other competitors that have attended Allstar races over the years.

Ask swamp what Webb calls Brad Doty behind his back then decide on how you feel. And I know for a fact he owes some big money to t-shirt vendors, engine builders, ex emoyees and us fans, plus right out of his mouth he says "I want Farmington shut down"..people used to slam me for my hate of the little man and now people are starting to see the light. GO RENEGADES!!

A promoter that badmouths Brad Doty can't be worth a sh!t . If the ascoc still exists by this summer I would like to ask him personally what he has to say about brad.

And, Mr. Webb has now decided to put out a statement regarding the AARN story that quoted him.  I've read this statement a dozen times and all he gives is lame excuses trying to "justify" his dumbass comments.  Hey Webb...a comment not directed at any specific driver or team (registered with the Renegades) means it can also be interpreted as being directed at any of the drivers....you are a moron.

AARN Clarification:

I would like to address a few points from an article published by Lenny Sammons in the Area Auto Racing News on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 that I feel are inaccurate and misrepresent this great racing organization.

In Lenny’s weekly “Focus On Speed” article, what was supposed to be an announcement of our 2015 schedule of events, ended up a bit off point and I would like to clarify two quotes that didn't convey the message accurately.

I would first like to address the quote – “You cannot sell a series with B and C-level talent”. In conversation, I meant to convey that I don’t believe a series should be luring additional drivers and teams that do not have the experience, resources and equipment to race at unfamiliar facilities. To clarify, the “B and C-level” comment was not directed at any specific driver or team.

I would also like to address an inaccurate and misquoted comment about drivers Tim, Shaffer, Chad Kemenah, Danny Smith and Greg Wilson.

These talented drivers have all had tremendous racing careers and have found much success throughout the years. Much of that success has been in All Star competition, hence why we receive so many comments and questions regarding these drivers and their future plans. It is true that the goals of a driver change throughout their career and they tend to race on a schedule that is more convenient based on circumstance, family and personal reasons, rather than commit to a grueling 45-50 race All Star Tour.

The drivers listed above have a combined 10 All Star Championships and have provided countless exciting events throughout their careers. We continue to welcome them at All Star events and know that the fans as well as this organization have great admiration for them.

We are excited about the 2015 All Star season and the great relationship our organization has with tracks, fans and race teams.

Best Regards,

Guy R. Webb – President
All Star Championship Racing, Inc.

So what about the comments that they are 45 to 50yrs old trying to hang on and just prolonging their careers? He does not address that in his statement. I'm sorry but this statement is complete B.S. He was not misquoted, you do not take " It is true that the goals of a driver change throughout their career and they tend to race on a schedule that is more convenient based on circumstance, family and personal reasons, rather than commit to a grueling 45-50 race All Star Tour,"And turn it into

"You cannot sell a series with B and C-level talent,: said Webb of the Renegades. "If you look at Tim Shaffer, Chad Kemenah, Danny Smith and Greg Wilson they are all 45 to 50 years old that are trying to hang on. there is a certain time that it is over and they have to move on in their career. They are just trying to prolong it."

Seems like the All Star days are over and, with the overwhelming support of the Renegades from former All Stars, Guy Webb must be the reason why...With this much smoke coming from one Guy there must be fire...Just last year Ohio speedweek saw some of the highest car counts in years and was supported by over 75 different drivers...How did that happen when so many teams were disgruntled?? Times change and the Renegades appear to be the series to follow so I only hope they can work with the NSL,WOO,MOWA,OVSC, and local tracks to keep 410 wing racing strong..I fear that the racing as a whole will suffer from too many sanctioning bodies with not enough cars to support all of them...What will happen the first Sat. where KC,Fremont,ASCOC,and Renegades all have shows scheduled ??  With Quiring,s NSL working with Knoxville and his strong point fund they could be the strongest player of all even luring some of the teams from the Ohio region from time to time...

Litle Guy........ Let's set the record straight right now.  I was offered $100k per year to run the Renegade Series anyone can freely call Bob Williams of All Pro as he was at the meeting himself.  I was also offered to run the promotion team that would lease tracks and promote races for the Renegade Series you can ask Paul Kistler as he was there for that one. So I am wondering who these creditable people are that won't work with me. There has been people who have asked my thoughts and I have shared with them.  I have said all along that I don't disagree with the concept of a new group.  I however do disagree with the actions that have been invovled getting it going.  I have been disappointed in some people whom I have a great respect for.  You should get your facts straight before running your mouth and you should put your name on it also.   Have I publiclly been a supporter of the All Stars yes I have.  The history and the tradition is something that tracks like Fremont have been built on.  If and when the All Stars are gone that goes with it.  There is no secret that Guy and I have not seen eye to eye I don't deny that for a moment. This has always been a business choice not a personal one for me.  Keep in mind my customers are not buying a ticket to the Guy Webb show they are buying a ticket to the "All Stars".  This has become personal between many and at the end of the day I can assure you that both sides have done and said things that are not for the better of the sport.   Everyone needs to find a way to put down the guns and stop the roits.  Right now today 410 racing in Ohio is like Ferguson MO where there own kind are tearing apart the city and killing eachother.  The last conversation that I have had with Shane Helms we agreed to doing just that and have done so on both ends.  The powers of sprintcar racing in this area need to find a way to fix this and stop the war before the damage is to great to repair I will gladly pay to host the meeting for all of the owners, tracks, and sanctioning bodies to attend and we work this out once and for all.  I can be reached by phone at 419-307-4241 or email at [email protected] for any track or owner that would like to attend a meeting to repair our sport so that the fans can have great events in 2015.

Thank you.   No one will show up to your meeting!  Seems like people tried to save sprint car racing and because you did not do it you want credit.  You ran your mouth to several at the PRI show.  Do you have short term memory loss?  I am one of the promotors you bad mouthed the management and Renegades too.  You went on for a long time.  You were selling the ALL STARS.  Try to be honest just for a minute.

I thought last year the Wilmot/Husets back to back nights was just poorly planned out. 7 and a half hours between shows that are back to back nights seems a little crazy. I thought for sure it was just coincidence. But I see they scheduled the exact same thing again this year. That right there just shows me how poorly this series thinks of its OWN drivers. Should probably get that straightened out before you go bashing other series'. I wish the renegade guys could go to shows and just steal money, but that would be supporting the series. I for one will not be going to Wilmot this year to support the ASCOC after reading these statements. I will go camping, or fishing instead. I ALWAYS support open wheel racing as much as I can, but this is just ridiculous.

Stealth, In my conversation with Guy Webb last year, after I asked him how he can hold his head high when he only brings 3, 4 cars to Wilmot, he said "My guys have to tow from New York to Wilmot, and only a few can make it"  The rest have jobs and families and cannot make it.  WHAT?  I am positive that more than a few including Rico ran Knoxville that night.  They catch up farther West.  I told him that it should be embarrassing to have your name all over "ALL STARS" and only have 3 cars (drivers) show up.  Sheldon had to borrow an IRA car just to run or there would have been only 2.  I guess he is banking on us dumb ass fans to fill the place.  (Something that happens for an IRA show anyway. No one benefits except him, oh, and Dale Blaney.  His reasoning is that the fans are treated to a good show, and the bump in admission is worth it, as the purse is almost doubled from what a regular IRA show is.   I think it's crap and would prefer Wilmot DROPPED this traveling Circus tour, and just run it as an IRA show.  In my mind, it is NOT an All-Star show, it is an enhanced IRA purse and field with maybe 3 more cars than usual. The purse does NOTHING towards the enjoyment of my night.   All the wasted time of pill draws with the kiddies and drivers on the front stretch grandstand area does NOTHING but kill time and extend the evening.  Just push em off and let em race. Quit trying to pull the wool over our eyes.   Its just a place to run a race that is driving distance from New York, on the way to the Rumble through the Plains.

Mr. Farmer, I remember you making a post on the old pitgate forum bashing Guy Webb publicly. If memory serves me right, this was in the winter after your first year of promoting Fremont. The post was deleted by the next day, but it was up there for anyone with an internet connection to see. You also ran a high dollar race against the Allstars when they were at Lawrenceburg for the Hoosier Fall Classic. Don't get me wrong, I have the utmost admiration and respect for your efforts and the job that you've done at Fremont. However, let's please cut the bullshit. Your hands have been dirty at one point or another in this situation as well. I also watched your internet interview a few months ago with Guy. The looks of frustration on both interviewer's faces (your's and the other interviewer) were very evident. Both of you struggled to get a word in edge-wise due to Webb's endless rambling and his rudeness while cutting you both off mid-sentence several times. It was a lesson in watching someone that has little to no interest in the thoughts and concerns of others. In simpler terms, the signs and symptoms of a disturbed mind. If this is an example of the way he conducts conversations with drivers and promotors, then I'm not surprised in the least that there has been an uprising against him.
