Why? Bruce Ellis is very knowledgable of sprint car racing and does a great job announcing.

+1 I'd take him over Johnny any day. I'd take Dave Hare over both. Best thing about an outlaw broadcast is the music.

I suppose just about every driver who has driven a PA racecar is posse? Lasoski, Jimmy Sills, Jeff Swindell, T-Mac, and many others come to mind. If thats the case, I guess the posse has one every major sprint race ever held.

No but I'd say they've won way more than the drivers from Iowa.

I do get the faithful fan thing but really guys???

If my neighbor is better than your neighbour you and I are still just the same people we are with or without neighbors. Should I really take any pride in the fact that someone who lives close to me makes me a better person? Why not do something on your own to make yourself news worthy.

Why do people root for their local sports teams? Probably few if any of the players are from that city...

Its not rational, some kind of group or tribal mentality thing

It can be fun if you don't take it too seriously

Funny isn't the word.  So let me get this correct:  A couple of years ago, when the Posse had a pretty dominating 10 or 12 races against the outlaws/travelers, you will admit it was hometrack advantage, correct?  If this is the case, this goes against most of the chest pounding that went on during that stretch.  I feel bad for the majority of the Posse fans I have encountered at the track.  They have to overcome the moronic statements made on this forum in order to seem credible.

Every analyst and expert in sprint car racing acknowledges the Posse is not up to par with the outlaws this year.  All of the chest pounding over the last few years has been outlaws vs. Posse.  So, when the outlaws hand the Posse their d!3#$ this year, you change the argument to "all of the cars that show up on the track are Posse or Posse related".  Then, when someone calls you out on that, you bring up 3 guys who run Knoxville/Jackson----not WOO.

You may have a future at the White House Press secretary the way you dodge the original questions.

By the way----4 WOO wins for Knoxville "regulars" this year.  Also, at Knoxville, Terry McCarl 2016 June WOO race.  I really don't see a lot of Posse or Knoxville regulars winning the Knoxville Nationals over the last 20 years, so that is a ridiculous statement as well.  Unless you are trying to compare the Williams Grove Open to the Nationals?  Please tell me you aren't or we will have to take your man card from you.

The posse's record vs the woo over the last ten years is easily the best in the country.  Not sure what point you're trying to make.  If you tell me any different your simply ignorant of reality.

Only 2/3 Posse in the top 10 of the biggest race. Some years it’s a lot more. But I can’t remember a year where the Posse has gotten beat as much as this year. 5 times by Outlaws, 3 times by Larson, twice by Brown. Even Lyndon Jeffrey picked a win up at Port earlier this year.

The posse lost some races...yes.... To great drivers with big time money.  In the case of Kyle Larson, he's the hottest driver in motorsports with unlimited funding.  Brian Brown is easily one of the top five drivers in the country.  Yeah we lost some races this year but these are no slouches...come on give me a break.  Hell kyle larson almost won the knoxville nationals... Dont see you criticizing the knoxville regulars, who by the way never defeat the outlaws at their big race.  What is mccarl now 0 for 30.  Get some perspective.

You want to see the biggest homer on this board, take a look in the mirror cornboy. Bruce has to talk over the co-worker to get a word in edgewise because Mr. Excitable co is busy trying to make a boring, single-file outlaw exhibition sound like the most exciting race ever. Bruce is a professional and one of the best and most knowledgable announcers in the biz. I've heard fans at the Nationals comment that "this announcer is really good" when he used to announce out there. He and Loh made a good announcing pair. You're just a little butt-hurt because Bruce does occasionally talk up the home team.

First I love that you only want to go back 10 years........And a history lesson will help you to understand that there are 9 Knoxville National Championships won by Knoxville regulars that went on to race the big boys during their careers....Wolfgang and Lasoski, both of whom left Knoxville to go on to the national level and do pretty damn well! They will always be considered "homies". And while no current Knoxville/Jackson drivers have won the Nationals, they have thrown in some WoO wins over recent years. Several Knoxville regulars from over the years have a fair number of WoO wins to their credit, same as the Posse drivers do over the years. Regardless, the WoO does have and have always had the drivers to beat. The problem with scorecards isn't the actual results, the problem is with the scorekeepers.....lol. We can all stretch in any direction if we choose. And I could have told you 25 years ago or so that McCarl would never win the Knoxville Nationals!

Very vague post... Some drivers... Several wins etc.  You can take any period of time you want 10 years twenty or whatever... I challenge you to find a group of locals with any sort of comparison to the posse...I'll save you the effort...aint gonna happen.

I challenge you to count outlaw wins of pa posse drivers vs any other local racers in the country...they will at least double the winning percent of any other..the scorekeeping isn't the problem....you just don't like the score.

No need to measure or discuss stats with me.....you wouldn't be able to keep up. Smile I know what the score is. I know the PA Posse has had the most success at home against the WoO over the years compared to what other locals have.  My ribbing of you was the 10 year record you are so proud of. If you count the twenty or whatever years things change. Again, no need to do an actual count, but I will remind you that when it comes to all time WoO wins at Williams Grove, the top four are Steve Kinser, Schatz, Mark Kinser and Sammy, with Dewease fifth. At Knoxville the top five WoO Feature winners would read Steve, Sammy, Schatz, Wolfgang and Mark Kinser.Oretty much the same. As for my "vague" post about some drivers.....I didn't want to take the time to list them all......Knoxville or Posse roots......just go to the All Time WoO Feature winners list and have a look for yourself and add them up. But of course, some of the Knoxville drivers did spend a rather extended run with the WoO for their totals, as did some Posse drivers. So, where you like to go with that?

Oh.....and the success all time of Knoxville drivers vs WoO and Posse drivers vs WoO is a lot closer than you seem to think.

most of you are an embarassment to yourself... name calling and launching insults at strangers over what region a guy who wins a race(s) is from?

So what are you doing but tossing insults at people you don't know.  If you don't like the debate don't participate.
