Explain to me how one would get to this site and somehow not be able to access a search engine?

Are you just in a touchy mood because the racing season is winding down?

OK, to be a little scientific on this question...Talladega is 2.66 miles long. The backstretch is it's longest chute at 4,000 feet long with the highest banking measuring at 33 degrees.  An average 410 winged Sprint Car  with driver is under WoO rules is 1400 pounds.  The average horsepower of the engine 880.  With an average barometric pressure of 29.92 and a temperature of 83 degrees with sunshine...the estimated speed of a sprint car (geared for maximum output) would be in the range of 177 miles per hour for a top speed because I have no idea WTF I'm talking about Smile

Just curious.

Fast enough to get someone seriously inuured or killed. Even the specially built Sprint Car which they used in the past for asphalt track could not hadle the speeds that you woudl have at Talladega. Track is too marrow, and wheel base too short and center of balance too high to handle the speeds that would be reached.

This months Speed Sport had a short article where Kistler said that Gravel's engine he ran at Knoxville was dyno'd at 930 HP and that Racing Cajun's Knoxville Winning Kistler engine last year dyno'd at 920 HP.

Put one of those engines in a cup car set up for Talladega and you'd probably do a lap of 230 or better.  Just guessing!

Europe died during Hitler's deathcamps. If not
for WWII, Jewish people in Europe would number 30
million-all making important contributions. Instead
Europe has 30 million people of another persuasion
trying to destroy Europe.

He could be a near genius, but new to sprint cars. No need to insult him

& he might get facts from Google, but not back & forth conversation

You've been in plenty of controversies here. The guy is just asking innocent questions. Lighten the hell up....

Good morning and go fuck yourself. Smile

I will say whatever I want, but thank you for your concern.

Perhaps my public service announcement to maple-syrup-for-brains helped him discover search engines? There is no shortage of stories documenting the loss of that track in great detail. One need not pepper a message board with a toddler-like string of questions when you can do your own damn research in the time it takes to type the questions.

Either way, he's quiet and my post served its intended purpose.

Looking forward to the next controversy I can dive into. Smile

You forgot that part about "Hey! You kids! Get off my lawn!!!!!". It's difficult to take you seriously.

If I cared who you were or what you thought I might give a half a rat's ass whether you take me seriously or not.

Seriously or not, you seem to keep choosing to take me. Smile

I am aware of google but the problem with it is that after you get your answer the screen fills with senseless dribble from places you prefer not to hear from. But thanks for the recommendation now i have 2 places i can get information without intelligent conversation about said topic.

That's exactly how your mother asks for it.

I'm very impressed with your intelligent comment....

So you can say whatever you want, & can also tell other people what they can ask?
