Heard on an internet broadcast last night from Brad Sweet himself that he will not be filling the seat of the KKR 19 next year, he is just filling the seat for the reainder of the 09 season to provide feedback of the operation & to allow the team to really concentrate on scounting the current tallent without having to fill the spot immediately. He also said he will be running a true outlaw schedule next year in another KKR car & maybe some truck races.

Scott Winters, Dusty Zomer, and Davey Heskin all three of these midwest guys could put this car up front every night!

seriously? when you think of midwest those are the 3 drivers you come up with? I'll give you Zomer, he is a strong driver, but really is only good at Knoxville--he is average at a track like Huset's. Heskin has, to my knowledge, 1 career 410 A main win. I like Heskin, I think he has potential, but not this sort of potential. Winters can be quick, but inconsistent--he doesn't show enough domination over the local guys he races against.

when you think of the midwest, only 1 local racer should come to mind: Mark Dobmeier. only Schatz has more A main wins in the past 3 years than this guy. one of those was a WoO win at Wilmot. he dominates at RCS, he dominates at Huset's, and he's competetive at Knoxville. he's even raced a season in Australia. my point: he's got way more seat time than those others, seen more of a variety of tracks than them, and has shown he can win. if any 'local' driver in the midwest is being considered for a ride such as this, it should be Dobmeier.

brad sweet is my choice since kasey is his "mentor" driving his midgets and all. since he is in the car now...we shall see...

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

To add to your knowledge Heskin has 2 career 410 wins and several podium finishes against the toughest weekly competition you'll find anywhere. He also showed he can drive a 360 pretty well too.

your obviously a dobmeier fan and I like him too but i dont think he even had a podium finish at Knoxville this year. not saying knoxville is everything but it delivers the strongest weekly competition.

But the WoO don't race at Knoxville every weekend....that is a different ball game when you go to different tracks almost every night....Heskin may get there but he isn't there yet. He is fast and smooth at Knoxville but he needs to start traveling around if he has any desire to get to that next level.

I can't believe no one has metioned Wayne Johnson. Give WJ some financial support and equipment and I guarantee he finishes in the top 10 in his first full time year with the WoO.

How about a good drum major to lead the parade, or maybe even the golden girl from Purdue!

I'd say Shane Stewart or Jack Dover!
