My condolences to the entire Jackson family.
I know with all the stress of putting on WoO shows it was always a comforting site to see Bobby take control not only on the track, but behind the scenes as well.

Staci & Josh,
Staci, you will remember me, and I know your mother will. This is Ashley Zimmerman, Joe and Mary's daughter. My mother and I, along with the rest of my family who knew Bobby (my dad included, as if he were alive, would be effected greatly as well) are deeply saddened to hear about your father. Infact, we cried all morning when we found out about this tragedy. PLEASE, please, let us know if there is anything we can do to help, as you remember we have been through this as well. If you need anything, someone to talk, or help with money, making plans, or just need a hug, we are most definately here for you as well as Patti.
I haven't seen your mom for a few months, as she moved from her apartment. If you could, please pass the following numbers along to her. 309-737-5688 and 309-737-0983.
Take care, and god bless.
Your father was truely amazing in both the racing industry, and as a person in general. He will be missed, and remember for a long time to come.

At a WOO show years ago, Hagerstown Speedway for whatever
reason would not honor my nephew's press credentials. We spotted Bobby and explained things to him. He said, "That sucks" and offered the use of
his WOO card. It wasn't in his wallet
so he handed my nephew $30 and said
"lets do it this way, I'll get my money back from Ted one way or another".
I'll never forget that.
Bobby was a great guy.
