Give me a flask of whiskey and a 12 pack in a cooler, and I'll watch em anywhere.
No, this does not mean I have to drink to watch 410s, it just means I like to have a good time. I almost always do too.

Yes, they were the days. Don't tell Port....the least exciting of them all unless it rains on raceday that way they will have enough water on there track. The nights it rains at the port it is more exciting racing by far.....just by watching the videos of those races.

Sad but true.

Need at least a 1/3 mile, preferably half mile for me. Some of these 1/4 miles are really more like 1/8 miles. Like watching a sprint car race around your dinning room table. I really liked Ascot, lots of sliding. Knoxville is a real sprint car track.

As far as California tracks are concerned I really like a slight banking 1/3 mile track like the Tulare Thunderbowl has! Also, it is vey wide with 3 racing lines right against the wall! I also really like Petaluma and Placerville and Petalma has a flat surface while Placerville is pretty high banked especially in turns 3 and 4.

It's interesting to hear the Thunderbowl referred to as a slightly bankd track. I've always thought of it as a high bank.

I watch some of the race links of the flater tracks and how much speed they scrub off drifting flat in what looks like slow motion around 1/2 & 3/4 and then really appreciate the high banks of Eagle and I80 raceway. Also, the tracks with no wall seem counter productive to a good race as even the best drivers when running high will drop the right rear over the top edge and have to go off/ back on the track and lose 4-6 positions at best, and also likely the race. Of course, a wall crash is far more costly most times I am sure.
