The Acorn doesn;t fall far from the tree I was never a fan of his daddy but I can respect racers...  Faster Freddie Rahmer [area 51] doesn't seem like the  shit stirer like his pop

About seeing a "crybaby" or "temper tantrum" as if it happens a lot.  I cannot remember the last time I saw a driver in any class throw a temper tantrum after a heat race or feature race and I go to an average of 6 races a month during the racing season, mostly attend races at only 3 or 4 racetracks but spent a lot of time thinking about it and cannot remember a pissed-off driver who showed his displeasure for fans to see, so in my opinion it does not happen much at all..  I have seen a few on tv and of course on youtube.  And yes, Hewitt's youtube videos of him telling someone what he thinks are definitely legandary and not for the faint of heart.  I don't call his temper tantrums but telling it like it was.  I do remember a flagman getting the finger twice and being banned for two weeks at a track, maybe 10 years ago.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but my thought is pretty simple. Cry babies don't run up front! Cry babies run around wondering what the hell the rest of the world knows that they don't! Some drivers wear their passion on their sleeves, while others carry it quietly within. I've seen many a driver show his passion in a manner that I might not approve of, but who the hell am I to label it?! And, who the hell am I to judge it?! I've also seen the times when I'd thought a driver should show his "passion" outwardly to a ruling or another driver, but he didn't. My thought then turns to the fact that if a driver accepts something and he seems cool with it.....he's dealing with it in his own way. I'm just glad this sport I enjoy involves a lot of passion, on both sides of the fence!

I agree.  I remember when I was a huge Jeff Gordon fan back in my die-hard Nascar days.  All of the friends I watched the races with called Gordon a crybaby because he was always "complaining" to Ray about his car.  ???  They claimed the only time he won the races is when he was done complaining about the car.  ????   Did I miss something or is that the entire reason for the "complaining"?  I don't know a hell of a lot about DD but seems to me guys who win on a regular basis aren't crybabies--as you said.
